Puppet Waddle Dee[Japanese title] is a large enemy that debuted in Kirby's Return to Dream Land. It is a paper-like puppet resembling a large Waddle Dee, which is controlled by three regular Waddle Dees underneath. This outer shell gives the Waddle Dees more durability. It attacks by moving slowly toward Kirby and hitting him by contact, or by holding still and blocking off a walkway. When defeated normally, the costume explodes and the three Waddle Dees go flying, returning to regular enemies who will then proceed to waddle about as usual once they collect themselves, although it can be swallowed whole using Super Inhale.
