Nutty Noon - Stage 6 (simply called Stage 6 or 5-6 in-game) is the boss stage of Nutty Noon in Kirby's Return to Dream Land and its remake—Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe. It is the final stage of Nutty Noon and the fifth boss stage of the game, where Grand Doomer is fought. Completing this stage awards Kirby and co. the Lor Starcutter's Mast and grants access to Egg Engines, on the faraway planet Halcandra.
Overview[edit]

Kirby starts out at the bottom of a large, blue tower in a starry night setting, like the ones found in Stage 4. Kirby must ascend the tower by climbing up many ladders leading to the top. On his way up, the path becomes more narrow, until he finds an open area where he can pick up a Copy Essence if desired. After equipping himself, Kirby can use a Warp Star to blast off to another tower. There he must walk through a hallway, but something isn't right: the jingle that plays after defeating a boss plays throughout the hallway instead of an intense melody. At the end of the hallway, the Mast is finally in sight. As Kirby reaches for it, Grand Doomer appears, gobbles up the Lor's mast and engages Kirby and his friends in combat. When its health is close to fully depleting, it encases itself in a solid mass and Kirby must get rid of it using the Ultra Sword.
In Extra Mode, Kirby must contend with the gloomy red Grand Doomer EX instead. Its attacks are much faster and it shoots more orbs at Kirby. In its shield phase, it will also use Deadly Sun.
