This article is about the Copy Ability, and should not be confused with Robobot Armor.

Mecha is a Copy Ability that will be debuting in the upcoming 2023 game Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, as an addition to the base game. With this ability, Kirby gains a futuristic helmet with a translucent visor similar to the one for Jet Kirby, and also gains two mechanical fists and two giant jetpacks on his back which are painted blue. With this ability, Kirby can fire lasers at his opponents using the packs on his back, punch them up close with the robotic fists, or release a fiery burst attack that can light up dark places. When Kirby is dashing, he will hover along using the pack instead of running.

It is not yet known which enemy or enemies provide this ability when swallowed, but one of them appears to be in Egg Engines.
