Magolor Epilogue - Opening Stage is the first stage in Magolor Epilogue: The Interdimensional Traveler. This stage begins immediately after the opening cutscene for the game upon starting a new adventure. It is a fairly short stage, acting as a tutorial of sorts for the game mode, and has no medal scores. Magolor obtains a Fruit Fragment at the end of this stage, and is then taken to the main hub. After that point, this stage cannot be revisited unless another new adventure is started.

Stage overview[edit]

After the opening cutscene plays out, Magolor is cast into a dreary ruin bathed in dull green light and rainy. After collecting himself, he sighs over his lost power and proceeds to the right. There are no enemies along this initial path—just some Star Blocks and a handful of Magic Points to collect, though with his flight almost completely gone, Magolor might have trouble getting some of them. Just ahead, a Bomb Block can be broken to open the way forward. Up a ladder, Magolor finds himself in a flat open space where he is suddenly ambushed by creatures from Another Dimension that attack in waves. After defeating the last particularly beefy Dippa, a Fruit Fragment appears before Magolor. Once he collects it, a rift opens up and he can finish the stage.

Trivia[edit]

  • Unlike other stages, Magolor has a sad expression on his face unless performing actions that would change his normal expression, such as attacking with Magic Spheres or descending after a Levitation. This stops during the battle at the end of the stage, where he returns to the neutral expression he uses for the rest of the game.
