"Twinkle☆Stars"[Japanese title] is the main theme for Kirby Star Allies. This theme was composed by Hirokazu Ando.

Composition

"Twinkle☆Stars" is a 4/4 theme in the key of G major, triumphant in character. It appears to be played with orchestral instrumentation, using lots of string and wind-wood instruments.

Game appearances

Kirby Star Allies

Twinkle☆Stars is the main theme of this game, with parts of it being remixed in other tracks. Among such remixes is a music box-like variation of the theme that plays when viewing the A Farewell to Kirby Celebration Picture. Much like a real music box, it slows down when nearing the end and eventually comes to a full stop.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land

In Kirby and the Forgotten Land, two arranged versions of the theme along with "Kirby Fighters 2: The Destined Rivals" and the Kirby Clash main theme accompany the HAL Rooms, the first features for Rocky Rollin' Road and The Wondaria Dream Parade, and the second for Burning, Churning Power Plant.

Other appearances

In Super Kirby Clash, Kirby Fighters 2, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Kirby's Dream Buffet and Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, the original version of the theme from the title screen plays when viewing Kirby Star Allies in the Past Adventures menu.

Other appearances

The theme was performed live at the Kirby 30th Anniversary Music Festival as part of the Beyond the 25th Anniversary medley, along with "Opening Movie" from Kirby Battle Royale, "Let Battle Commence!", "The Heroes' Challenge! Quest Board / Story Quest" from Super Kirby Clash, "The Battle of Deeply Bonded Allies", and "A Great Battle for Tomorrow".

Trivia

  • The title of the theme refers to the original name of Kirby's Dream Land: "Twinkle Popopo".
