Freeze and Fling! Skating on Ice (Ice Treasure for short) is a stage in Treasure Road, found in Natural Plains. This stage tasks Kirby with completing a challenge revolving around the use of Ice, using Ice Storm to power through lines of enemies. The stage is unlocked after completing A Trip to Alivel Mall. It is marked by one star of difficulty and has a stage time of three and a half minutes (three minutes in Wild Mode), with a target time of 40 seconds.

Stage details[edit]

This stage consists of several sloped walkways leading downward, each covered in large numbers of enemies. Kirby will need to power through each wave of enemies while avoiding the Gordo Bars and clearing out burning logs in the way. After moving across several slopes, including some that shift back and forth, Kirby will find a warp pad that takes him to the last longer slope leading forward past many more Gordo Bars. At the bottom of this slope, the Rare Stone awaits.

Tips[edit]

The following are tips on how to attain the target time for this stage:

  • In order to hit this target time, Kirby will need to keep constantly on the move, and not stop for anything. The best way for Kirby to keep the momentum up is to continually use Ice Storm while sliding down the slopes to defeat all the enemies and then knock them into the burning logs.
