When Kirby escapes to the elevator with a few Waddle Dees after the battle against Forgo Dedede, it will start up and carry them up to Lab Discovera. When the elevator begins to move, the computer system will boot and run through startup tasks to detect the system language and authenticate the group before playing the pre-recorded tour guide set to a tinny rendition of "Welcome to the New World!" and "The Smell of a Scary Beast".
The automatic tour is guided by a cheery woman who explains the nature of ID-F86 and Lab Discovera. When ID-F86 originally arrived to the planet, it began a devastating invasion before the previous inhabitants captured it for experimentation, thus halting the invasion before it worsened. The researchers of Lab Discovera studied ID-F86's spatial teleportation abilities in order to learn how to utilize it for their own technologies. 30 years after this point, an incident involving the experimentation of ID-F86's abilities caused Elfilin to split from it and escape the lab while ID-F86 was kept under permanent stasis for an unknown duration until Kirby's arrival.
Once Kirby is able to upgrade the Waddle Live! Corner Stage far enough, they will play a version of the track that doesn't contain the voiceover from the cutscene.
While both French versions use the same script, they have different formatting and use different audio tracks. Both Chinese versions use the English audio track, but the text is localized properly.

The "automatic language detection" at the beginning is a mild fourth wall reference, as the game uses the system language to determine which audio file to play.
If the language is set to French or Spanish, then the system region determines which of the two dialectal versions play. If the region is set to Japan, The Americas or Hong Kong/Taiwan/South Korea, then the Canadian French and Latin American Spanish versions will play. If the region is set to either Europe or Australia/New Zealand, then the European versions will play.
If the language is set to Portuguese or Russian, due to the game not being translated to those languages, the English version will play.
There are several references to the Kirby series hidden within the recording:
"ID-F86" is a reference to HAL Laboratory, as 86 can be read as "HAL" in Japanese (though it is pronounced more traditionally as "hachi-roku" in this case).
The use of the word "discoveries" in the name of the tour, and Lab Discovera by extension, is a reference to the Japanese, Korean and Chinese names of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, 星のカービィ ディスカバリー/별의 커비 디스커버리/星之卡比 探索發現/星之卡比 探索发现 (Kirby of the Stars: Discovery).
While most versions of the speech feature a cheery voice, the guide in the European French version speaks with a calmer voice.
