“ | Frosty Ice gives you chilling powers...and a really cute hat! Blow out freezing blasts of air and create a line of snowmen. Aww, they all have Frosty's face! He must be so proud. | ” | — Figure description segment from Kirby and the Forgotten Land |
Frosty Ice is an Evolved Copy Ability based on Ice that appears in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. With it, Kirby now wears a parka hat that resembles Wild Frosty, and can spew freezing breath to both freeze enemies and create snowmen which Kirby can then kick. Using the Ice Storm attack will also create a line of snowmen if used while Kirby has running momentum.
The blueprint for Frosty Ice can be found in The Battle of Blizzard Bridge, from a Treasure Chest that appears after defeating Twin Wild Frosty. Frosty Ice is required to play the Treasure Road stage Freezing Fight! Frosty Ice Trial.

---|---|---|
Move | Button execution | Description |
Ice Skate | Dash | In a similar fashion to how Ice-Cutter Kirby skates across the ground, Kirby also gains increased speed compared to his normal dash, and is now able to skate over water surface, mud and magma. |
Ice Breath | B | Like the Fire ability, Kirby breathes out ice to freeze enemies. This creates small Mr. Frosty-esque snowmen that can be kicked like a frozen enemy. If this attack is held in a single direction, the snowmen will grow. |
Target Ice | L-Stick during Ice Breath | Kirby can walk slowly and rotate 360 degrees during Ice Breath. |
Fix Ice | Hold L/R during Ice Breath | Kirby can fix the aim of Ice Breath while walking. |
Ice Storm | B repeatedly | The Freeze copy ability. Kirby creates a field of ice to freeze enemies. When used during dash, Kirby keeps the momentum and leaves Mr. Frosty-esque snowmen in his wake, which can be kicked like a frozen enemy. |
Ice Kick | While touching ice | Kirby in this form (and all his other forms and other characters) will kick the frozen enemy across the screen with a slight homing ability. |
Ice Block | L/R | Kirby outright freezes himself to avoid damage. Unlike his normal guard, he takes no damage from getting hit, but he cannot dodge. |
Ice Scatter | While using Ice Block, release L/R (or cancel Ice Block via Attack/Slide) | Kirby breaks out of his Ice block dealing minor damage to enemies. By tilting the L-Stick during Ice Scatter, Kirby can dodge in place which can trigger the slow motion effect. |
All ice attacks can gradually freeze bosses and mid-bosses, encasing them in ice and slowing them down, until they are finally frozen solid. When they thaw out, they take heavy damage.
