Northeast Frost Street is the first stage of Winter Horns in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. In this stage, Kirby travels through a frozen city made of brick and cobble, contending with Cororis and their snowballs along the way. As he travels through, he will make use of Vending Mouth and Stairs Mouth to make progress.
There are two Capsules from Vol. 1 and two from Vol. 2 to collect in this stage, and five missions to complete. There are a total of ten Waddle Dees to rescue here, when including the mission objectives.
Stage overview[edit]
This stage is broken up into three main areas, with one hidden side area accessible from the second main area.
In the first area, Kirby needs to travel down a long a wide boulevard lined with fences, trees, and enemies. Halfway along this path, the road becomes a lot rockier and pocked with bottomless pits. From here, Kirby can find a vending machine and use Vending Mouth to clear his way through the remaining roadblocks. At the end, he can find a Warp Star to take him forward.
In the second area, Kirby jumps along large swaying buildings in a big open space, which affects the trajectory of the snowballs the Cororis roll his way. Partway through this area, Kirby can use the Ranger ability to unlock a gate leading to a side area where he can save a Waddle Dee. From here, Kirby must then traverse one more set of swaying buildings to reach the door to the next area.
In the third and final area, Kirby needs to make use of several flights of scaffold stairs to climb up a series of high walls. Once at the top, Kirby needs to deal with a bunch of enemies guarding switches. Once all the switches are pressed, a walkway will appear that connects the platform to the one with the gold cage on it. Kirby is free to collect these Waddle Dees, but there is another thing he ought to visit here first.
Differences between difficulties[edit]
In Wild Mode, there is an extra Corori on the last swaying building in the second area. Additionally, there is an extra Poppy Bros. Jr. and a Hot Head at the end of the third area where the switches are. The rest is the same as in Spring-Breeze Mode.
Missions[edit]
Northeast Frost Street has five missions to complete, as follows:
- "Clear the stage" - Kirby must complete the stage.
- "Save the hidden Waddle Dees" - Kirby must find and rescue the four hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee is located near the end of the first area, behind a blue shutter guarded by two Cororis and isolated from the main path until a Bomb Block is hit to connect it. Vending Mouth is needed to take on these tasks and reach the Waddle Dee.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee is found in the side area accessible from the second main area. Kirby needs to first obtain the Ranger ability and use it to hit a Target Switch to open the gate. Once inside, Kirby then needs to solve a shooting puzzle involving more switches to free this Waddle Dee.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be found at the end of the second area. Kirby needs to locate a Bomb Block embedded in the wall on the left side of the last swaying building and open it to find this Waddle Dee.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee is located in the last area. To reach him, Kirby needs to grab the highest set of stairs to gain Stairs Mouth, then ferry the stairs down one level and to the right to crash through a fragile wall. After defeating the Buffahorn inside, Kirby can position the stairs to get to the Waddle Dee up above.
- "Destroy 4 animal snow sculptures" - Kirby must find and destroy the four Awoofy snow sculptures. There locations are as follows:
- Sculpture 1: Can be found in the first area near the start, on the right.
- Sculpture 2: Can be found at the end of the first area, to the right of the Warp Star.
- Sculpture 3: Can be found hidden on a path down from just before the last set of swaying buildings in the second area.
- Sculpture 4: Can be found to the right of where the highest set of stairs are in the last area.
- "Find the side alley" - Kirby must locate the hidden side alley. It can be found in the first area along the left wall, towards the middle of the area.
- "Reach the clock tower" - Kirby must reach the clock tower. It can be found at the very end of the stage, to the left of where the gold cage is.

Trivia[edit]
- The time on the clock tower is 4:27, a reference to the release date of Kirby's Dream Land in Japan. The same time reference can also be found in Alivel Mall (Staff Side).
- The Star Coins that spawn near the clock, three blue ones and two yellow ones, together amount to 92 Star Coins, in reference to the release year of the same game, 1992.
