Ranger is a Copy Ability that equips Kirby with a star-studded hunter's cap and a small blunderbuss that shoots stars. This ability allows Kirby to attack foes by firing at them in various ways, and also allows for very long-range attacks. The star attached to the cap works as a headlamp, though this is not ever required to use. This ability made its first (and so far only) appearance in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Ranger also has two Evolved Copy Ability forms, those being Noble Ranger and Space Ranger.

Shot	B	Kirby fires a Star Bullet from his blunderbuss.
Charged Shot	Hold B for a short time and release	Kirby fires a larger, more powerful Star Bullet from his blunderbuss that hits enemies multiple times, has 2 charges.
Super Charged Shot	Hold B for a longer time and release	Kirby fires a Blaster Bullet from his blunderbuss that explodes upon hitting a wall.
Rapid Fire Shot	B in midair while moving	Kirby fires a multitude of short-range Star Bullets in an upward arc starting below himself.
Counter Shot	B after dodging an attack	Kirby fires three Star Bullets at once from his blunderbuss towards the enemy, can be used up to three times.
