Button is one of the six Ravel Abilities present in Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn. When obtained, it gives Kirby a hard hat and allows him to conjure up button bombs when he uses the Yarn Whip.
To make a bomb appear, the player must hold the B button after Kirby tosses out the yarn whip, same as when rolling enemies up into yarn balls, though to make a bomb, no enemy should be ensnared. Once Kirby has a bomb, he can toss it or place it down gently in a similar manner to a yarn ball. If it hits an enemy, or after a short amount of time, the bomb will explode, defeating any enemies nearby, though it cannot be used to harm bosses aside from hitting their weak points. Kirby himself cannot be harmed by his own bombs.
This ability is also available to Kirby if the King Dedede amiibo is scanned into the game, giving Kirby the Dedede Hat as an alternate look.
