Type[edit]

Is there any purpose behind this point? I can't remember any classification like that in the games, so where does it come from? - Edofenrir( talk) 08:34, 24 March 2010 (UTC)

This is really old and the original asker isn't going to read the reply, but for future reference: Most Copy Ability currently don't use Type=, likely because it is not defined at all and, as pointed out above, there is no such classification in the games. I believe, however, that the field can be used to indicate objective & gameplay-relevant attributes like whether the ability has limited uses, etc. as there is not currently a field for that apart from this. If anyone has suggestions on this field, please put them here.--Vellidragon 10:57, 1 September 2011 (CDT)

Width[edit]

This might just be me, but the width of the "data" (right) part of the Infobox currently seems to depend on how long the longest single word in any of the data sections is, e.g. as wide as the word "Kirby's", which leads to a line break after almost every word, whereas the "label" (left) part takes up the entire rest of the infobox, most of that being empty space. Trying to add width percentages to the label & data parts doesn't seem to change anything. Other Infoboxes don't do this, but the reason for that appears to be that the boxes are wider; this one would leave more room for data as well if it were wider, but it already interferes with the skill tables in the Copy Ability articles, at least at a 1024x768 resolution. Is there a way of assigning a set width to the parts of the Infobox?--Vellidragon 21:30, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

For future reference, the above paragraph is not relevant anymore; it was related to an early form of the Infobox; all Infoboxes have since been updated.--Vellidragon 10:57, 1 September 2011 (CDT)

Artwork[edit]

Would it be a good idea to make every picture in the infobox come from the latest main Kirby game? Aphelocomaマリオ 16:11, 22 July 2012 (CDT)

That's (kind of) the way it's usually handled with infobox images (see WiKirby:Quality Standards#Infoboxes); not quite sure why these were set up the way they are, with the symbols from Kirby Super Star Ultra. They look nice where they actually work, but I'm guessing there wasn't much foresight in that decision; there's no way to keep things consistent like that as not every ability is in every game and their icons aren't even consistent throughout the series. So, yeah, I would be in favour of going by the general infobox image standards for Copy Abilities (which the abilities that don't have an icon in Kirby Super Star Ultra already do, as far as I'm aware) rather than using these icons.--Vellidragon 16:29, 22 July 2012 (CDT)
