“ | Firework monster? That thing couldn't hold a candle to a lightning bug! | ” | — Escargoon's first impression of Sasuke, in Cappy New Year |
In the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! episode Cappy New Year, King Dedede orders Sasuke from Night Mare Enterprises as a discount monster. Despite this, Sasuke is an extremely skilled mechanic, described by the N.M.E. Sales Guy as a "fireworks expert". Despite not having a voice, Sasuke is able to build complex machinery and launch bombs and firecrackers with great precision. It is also shown to be quite physically strong, being able to hoist a giant rocket on its back and run with it. Most notably, Sasuke has a nasty temperament, often attacking King Dedede and Escargoon, despite working for them.
In addition to its technical skills, Sasuke has on hand a number of weapons, including firecrackers and a hand-gun capable of rapid fire (though this latter weapon is only seen clearly in the Japanese version). Sasuke also sports a pair of white gloved-hands, though these are not always visible. Despite its many skills, it is one of the few monsters directly susceptible to Kirby's Inhale, and grants the Parasol ability when swallowed, just like its in-game counterpart.
Sasuke emerges from the Monster Delivery System.
