Kirby Comes to Cappy Town
E1 Tuff.png
Primary character In this episode, Tuff accompanies Tiff as the two try to tell King Dedede and Escargoon about the monster attacking Dream Land, but they are brushed off. Later, he goes with Tiff and the others to Kabu to hear of the prophesized Star Warrior that will come to save them, and is there to watch as Kirby crashes into the kingdom in his starship. When King Dedede knocks Kirby into the ravine, Tuff follows Tiff and the other kids down to help him out, and soon become acquainted with him.

After their attempt to get Kirby acquainted with the people of Cappy Town initially doesn't go well, Kirby runs off and Tiff and Tuff try to find him. When they encounter the leftover sheep bones from Octacon's feeding, they wonder if Kirby was responsible, but they still give him the benefit of the doubt when they find him again, and try to hide him from Meta Knight. Tuff is later present at the castle to watch Kirby battle and defeat Octacon, and is also present to formally welcome Kirby to stay in Dream Land after his starship is sabotaged.

"A monster wouldn't have done that, Tiff!"
A Blockbuster Battle
E2 Tuff.png
Primary character In this episode, Tuff and his cohorts try to find Kirby a place to stay after their play session is interrupted by a sudden storm. Despite their best efforts, all of the Cappies reject Kirby due to misunderstandings planted by King Dedede and Escargoon, so the kids hatch a plan to build Kirby a treehouse instead. No sooner do they finish this, however, than when King Dedede and Escargoon show up in their Armored Vehicle and destroy the treehouse, then throw Blocky into the mix to battle Kirby. Tuff and Tiff help Kirby out when he is initially overpowered by this monster, and later get some help from Meta Knight who gives them an idea. When they employ this idea successfully and Kirby gains the Stone ability, Tuff cheers him on as he defeats Blocky. At the end of the episode, Tuff is among those who invites Kirby into his new dome house they'd built for him. "Yeah, now Kirby's a Rock Star Warrior!"

After a while, when it seems clear that Kirby cannot win, Tiff and Tuff make a distraction by pushing a boulder into the canyon and then try to escort Kirby away on a stretcher. They head to Kabu, who tells them about Kirby's backstory and Meta Knight's relation to him, but they are soon interrupted by King Dedede who releases the monster Bugzzy on them. When Tiff calls the Warp Star to help Kirby out, Tuff watches as he gains the Sword ability from Kracko and then uses it to defeat the monster. "You'll never know unless you try, Kirby!"
Beware: Whispy Woods!
E5 Tuff.png

After some time trying to navigate the forest, they manage to find him in a clearing where they bump into Whispy Woods, who sees them as harmful intruders and proceeds to bury them in apples. However, this was a trick orchestrated by King Dedede so that he could cut down Whispy Woods when he was helpless, then do away with the rest of the forest so that he could build his golf course. Tiff and Tuff later show up with signs to protest the golf course's construction, but this has little effect, until Kirby spits out one of Whispy's apples which allows him to regrow and restore the forest. From here, Tiff and Tuff are treated to apples atop Whispy's canopy as King Dedede and Escargoon are punished. "Kirby ought to be easy to see. The pink stands out!"

At this realization, Tuff becomes disheartened and nearly walks out on them, but has a change of heart when he realizes that Meta Knight needs help overcoming the Pukey Flower.
