This article is about the stage in Kirby's Dream Land 3. For the stage in Kirby's Dream Land 2, see Cloudy Park - Stage 3 (Kirby's Dream Land 2).

Cloudy Park - Stage 3 is the third stage of Cloudy Park in Kirby's Dream Land 3. This stage features the mini-game How many of the same color are there?.

Overview[edit]

The stage begins up in the clouds, but during a rain storm. The path leads past several Bobos and other foes.

The door leads to another are of the cloud-top - this one with pools of water dispersed about. Inside one of the pools is a side-chamber where Kirby can choose between ChuChu, Kine and Rick.

The next area is a cloud chute lined with Zebon. Kirby can use these to quickly make his way up to the top.

In the following room, Kirby will play a Sub-Game with a local tri-colored creature. Here, a bunch of Gordos will appear from behind a screen for a moment, and Kirby then has to guess how many of a particular color there were. The game has up to three rounds, but Kirby doesn't have to clear them to move forward.

The door leads to an auto-scrolling area. As the path progresses, clouds will often blow into the foreground, obscuring the view of the stage. The stage exit can be found at the end of this path, just before a cloud wall.

In the last room, Kirby can collect a Heart Star from the tri-colored creature from earlier if he got all three guesses right in the sub-game.

Heart Star guide[edit]

Kirby needs to remember the colors of the Gordos he sees, then recount how many of a given color there were.
Main article: How many of the same color are there?

Kirby will bump into a strange tri-colored creature along his path up the cloud-tops. Here, they will play a short Sub-Game. This game consists of three rounds, and in each one, a number of Gordos will appear briefly from behind a screen. These Gordos come in four different colors. Once they disappear, Kirby then has to guess how many of a particular color there were. Kirby has to get all three guesses right in order to receive a Heart Star at the end of the stage.

Trivia[edit]

  • This stage is the only place in the game where Kirby can meet up with Batamon in the same room. A well-hidden secret passage is hidden behind the cloud wall at the stage exit, which Kirby can walk into and end up in a room full of Batamon, including one that is in Kirby's path, as well as another stage exit.
