The next day, Tiff speaks to Gangu again about her concerns with the toy, and wants to know where it came from. Gangu doesn't have a clear answer for her, but Tiff is able to piece together the source by looking at the branding on the box. At the end of the episode, after the Electronic Pet is destroyed, Gangu approaches Kirby with a replacement toy that he built himself, but after speaking with Tiff and Tuff about it, they decide it's probably best to just let Kirby grieve over his lost friend, rather than trying to replace him. This ends up turning into a craze in Cappy Town, as all the kids (and soon adults as well) want to get involved in collecting the figures. Tiff is upset at Gangu and Tuggle for taking advantage of the townsfolk like this, but they remind her that this was her idea in the first place and proceed. When King Dedede gets involved, however, he disrupts the business so he can try to get all the figures in the collection himself. After being burned by this craze (and spending some time in jail), King Dedede hatches a scheme to have Night Mare Enterprises send some new merchandise to Gangu and Tuggle, which they seem to be unsuspicious of despite the fact that it literally fell out of a portal from the sky on their doorstep. They incorporate these new figures into their capsules, which are also advertised on Channel DDD.
