Elec[Japanese title] is an enemy that debuted in Kirby's Return to Dream Land. It yields the Spark ability when swallowed. Its internal name comes from "electricity", which fits its electrical attack. Elec is almost identical in appearance and function to Flamer. However, it bears more detail, including an eyelid and segmentation of its outer shell, and is largely green in color.
Elec primarily moves by rolling along whatever wall it is in contact with, turning with each corner of the wall as necessary. However, if angered, it will detach from the wall and float in the air, in an attempt to ram its target. It can be tough to deal with, as it can roll very quickly and has decent durability. Unlike Flamer, Elec tends to attack from above via an electrical field upon getting angry. It also tends to prefer rolling clockwise, unlike Flamer which usually rolls counterclockwise.
