Rhythm Route is the fifth level of Kirby: Planet Robobot. It has five regular stages, a boss stage, and an EX stage. The level features a densely-packed, extremely-lit cityscape environment with a musical theme, but contains a casino, and a laboratory like the previous levels. There are eighteen Code Cubes to collect in this level, with three in every stage except the Boss one. The bosses are Dedede Clone and Dedede Clones & D3.

In Meta Knightmare Returns[edit]
All stages of Rhythm Route are played in one sequence in Meta Knightmare Returns except for certain sections involving the Robobot Armor. Through this sequence, two stickers can be found.
In addition, many enemies are re-sized - changing their Health and also possibly movement speed - and Dedede Clone, Dedede Clones & D3, and the Mid-Bosses are changed to their 2.0 forms.
Finally, in place of Code Cubes, side areas yield Meta-Points, which can be used to power Meta Knight's special abilities.

Trivia[edit]
- The song that plays in Stages 1 and 4 of Rhythm Route, "Sky-High and Smitten", was composed by Jun Ishikawa. He recalled being shown concept art of Kirby in an entertainment district with bars and neon lights, and since he thought that the juxtaposition was funny, he wrote the song as adult-oriented rock with the idea that "it smells like alcohol, even though it's Kirby". Because of this, Shinya Kumazaki named the song 「摩天楼に酔いしれて」 (Intoxicated by the Skyscrapers) in Japanese.[1]
