Kirby's Dream Land 2
There are different themes for the two phases of Dark Matter, the final boss in Kirby's Dream Land 2:
- Swordsman Dark Matter's theme (Phase 1) (often referred to as "Duel in the Darkened Sky") can be found as BGM 39 in Dream Land 2's Sound Test.
- Real Dark Matter's theme (Phase 2) can be found as BGM 14 in Dream Land 2's Sound Test. It's also included as Track 07 in Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition Compilation Soundtrack.
Kirby: Planet Robobot
Although Dark Matter itself doesn't appear, Dark Matter Clone acts as a surprise boss in Meta Knightmare Returns and The True Arena of Kirby: Planet Robobot.
Dark Matter Clone's battle theme is arranged by Hirokazu Ando and titled Reproduction of Darkness (暗黒の復刻 in Japanese). It's a remixed medley of Dark Matter's two themes from Kirby's Dream Land 2, with the Real Dark Matter theme playing before Swordsman Dark Matter's theme.
Reproduction of Darkness can be found as Track 150 in Planet Robobot's Jukebox.
Kirby Star Allies
During the Morpho Knight battle in Guest Star ???? Star Allies Go! and Soul Melter (EX) in The Ultimate Choice, if 1P is Rick & Kine & Coo, Morpho Knight's theme will be replaced by a new orchestral medley of Real Dark Matter and Cloudy Park, both of which are themes from Kirby's Dream Land 2. The track title on Kirby Star Allies: The Original Soundtrack is ダーククラウディ (Dark Cloudy).
This medley is also arranged by Hirokazu Ando. It can be found as Track 175 in the Star Allies Jukebox as of Version 4.0.0.
