As soon as this round fellow got his hands on that fancy helmet, he stopped focusing on the important part of being a Spear Cotta Knight--the spear throwing. His aim is really bad now.
— Figurine description of Spear Cotta Knight from Kirby and the Rainbow Curse

Spear Cotta Knight is an enemy which made his first appearance in Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. He usually stays in one place, hurling spears at Kirby and Waddle Dee. The spears are hazardous to touch, and Spear Cotta Knight himself is immune to Kirby's regular Touch Dash and Waddle Dee's own spear. Kirby must take him out using a Star Dash or something comparable. Defeating Spear Cotta Knight grants 100 points and 10 Point Stars.

Spear Cotta Knight appears only in The Wild Red Yonder. Two of them can be seen trying to toss their spears at Kirby as he flies by after being shot from a cannon, but miss quite badly, thus explaining their Figurine caption.
