“ | The fork that shrunk Kirby down to bite-size is no ordinary piece of cutlery—it's the legendary Dream Fork that can make dreams come true! | ” | — Tasty Tidbit in Kirby's Dream Buffet |
The Dream Fork is an item debuting in Kirby's Dream Buffet capable of granting dreams: it shrunk Kirby down in order to grant his dream of eating a mountain-sized cake.[1] It has a red and white diagonally striped handle (much like the Star Rod) and golden tines. In gameplay, the Dream Fork can be seen wielded by one of the Server Hands in the Battle Royale mode, where it frequently gets stabbed into the arena to take away certain pieces of the stages. If a Kirby is on that piece when it is lifted out, he will be taken out of bounds. The Dream Fork is also visible on the Home Table, though it only serves as a bit of decoration.
