Uniclod is very proud of his horn... That's why he wants to spear everyone with it.
— Patch Plaza

Uniclods are enemies who appeared in Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn. They first appear in-game in the Flower Fields stage, in Grass Land (although in the opening cutscene, the monster chasing Prince Fluff around is a Uniclod as well). Uniclods are new enemies created by Yin-Yarn to help him take over Patch Land; they are very proud of their horns and try to use those horns to charge into Kirby, harming him. If Kirby is hit by a charging Uniclod, Kirby will lose several beads.

Uniclods can be defeated by using Kirby's yarn whip on them. If Kirby tries to crush them with his weight, while they are standing up, he will be damaged by the contact. If Kirby uses Roll Up to roll up Uniclod, it will transform into an arrow which will pierce through enemies when thrown.

Uniclod's name comes from "unicorn", a mythical creature with a single horn, and "Cyclod".

In the Kirby novel series[edit]

Kirby attacks a Uniclod with his Yarn Whip.

Some Uniclods appear in the Kirby: Big Trouble in Patch Land! volume of the Kirby novel series. One appears briefly in chapter 2, and attacks Prince Fluff while he and Kirby are walking around in Grass Land. Just before it can attack Fluff, however, Kirby uses his Yarn Whip for the first time, tearing apart the monster. Later on, in the final battle against Yin-Yarn, he knits four Uniclods to attack Kirby, but Kirby uses his Yarn Whip to grab them and throw them back as yarn balls at Yin-Yarn.

In the first chapter, a "horned monster" chases after Prince Fluff. Although it's not explicitly mentioned that it's a Uniclod, it likely is one, as that is the case in the games' opening.
