Challenge 24 is the twenty-fourth stage of Challenge Mode in Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. It is unlocked by completing 24 One-Minute Challenges.

Overview[edit]

Challenge 24 is a Survival Challenge, divided into twelve rooms with 15 seconds per room. Four rooms each are devoted to the Kirby Tank, the Kirby Submarine, and the Kirby Rocket in that order. The rooms are as follows:

Room Description Notes
KatRC Challenge Room 24-1.png
Room 1
In this room, Kirby has to shoot down ten Bronto Burts flying up and down to make the chest appear.
KatRC Challenge Room 24-2.png
Room 2
In this room, 6 sets of two blue Bronto Burts come flying in a zig-zag pattern from above. All of them need to be shot down to make the chest appear. Aiming straight up and firing with good timing will allow Kirby to take these enemies out as soon as they appear.

Room 3
This room's chest is locked away in a ceiling cache by two shutters that can be opened by hitting switches on the left and right walls past some blocks that need to be shot through. Kirby will continually bounce in the middle on springs in a Gray Zone below the chest.

Room 4
In this room, Kirby needs to defeat three Bouncies and a Bouncy Sis to make the chest appear.
KatRC Challenge Room 24-5.png
Room 5
This underwater room features four Blippers which need to be defeated to make the chest appear in the middle.

Room 6
This half-flooded room features two waterfalls in the upper half with the treasure chest floating between them. Kirby can make use of one of the waterfalls to give him the lift he needs to get the chest.
KatRC Challenge Room 24-7.png
Room 7
This underwater room features a snaking path with a current pushing Kirby out. A switch can be found at the end of the path, which can be hit by guiding Kirby's torpedoes toward it. A thin Gray Zone stretches across the room, forcing the rainbow rope to be segmented. Once the switch is hit, the shutter in the lower-left opens, granting access to the chest.

Room 8
This underwater room has lines of Gordos in it. Kirby will need to steer his torpedoes to hit the three star bottles around the room to make the chest appear in the middle. Alternatively, he could swim toward them as well.

Room 9
The chest in this room is locked behind a gate which can be opened by flying over the four background panels to activate them. Some dash rings can be used to make this quicker.
KatRC Challenge Room 24-10.png
Room 10
This room's upper half is filled with a Gray Zone. Kirby will need to be steered carefully in this room to get the chest in the upper-right.
KatRC Challenge Room 24-11.png
Room 11
This room's chest is guarded by a circle formation of Bronto Knights, with a single Bronto Burt forming a weak link in the chain as they spin around counterclockwise. Kirby will need to aim precisely to fly through the Bronto Burt and get the chest.
KatRC Challenge Room 24-12.png
Room 12
The chest in this room is blocked off by a line of metal blocks on the right side. A thin Gray Zone stretches through the middle of a Point Star line shaped like a heart. Kirby will need to collect enough of these stars to activate a Star Dash and get the chest.
