Gators are green, alligator-like enemies which first appeared in Kirby Super Star. They have large expressive faces with four sharp teeth and a yellow frill on their backs, but do not have any limbs, forcing them to move by hopping around instead. They do not provide a Copy Ability when swallowed.
Game appearances
Kirby Super Star / Kirby Super Star Ultra
In Kirby Super Star and its remake, Kirby Super Star Ultra, Gators can only be encountered in The Great Cave Offensive and Milky Way Wishes. If a Gator spots Kirby, it jumps on him and attempts to bite him. They bite several times in a row, causing a lot of damage to Kirby.
Gators can come in many colors in these games. In addition to the standard green, they can also be seen in orange, purple, and red.

Kirby Mass Attack
In the Kirby Mass Attack Sub-Game of Kirby Quest, a horde of 66 Gators appears as one of Kirby's attacks. This is a reference to the 1989/90 game Revenge of the 'Gator, also produced by HAL Laboratory (called 'Pinball: The Great 66-Alligator Parade' in Japanese).
