In the graveyard, some tombstones aren't what they seem. Some cover secret passages, and others are actually enemies. When in doubt, hurl yourself against a tombstone and see what happens.
— Daroach, in Kirby Mass Attack

Gravy[Japanese title] is an enemy in Kirby Mass Attack. It disguises itself as a regular tombstone until the Kirbys approach, then flies up into the air. It attacks by slamming into the ground, crushing any Kirbys beneath, but can be defeated by flicking the Kirbys into it. There are two varieties of Gravy. The brown version awards 300 points when defeated. The purple variety requires many more hits to break, and is worth 350 points instead.

One Gravy in particular, found in Volcano Valley - Stage 6, is said by Daroach to have once been the owner of the haunted mansion which the stage takes place in[1], and is guarding a Rainbow Medal.

  1. "Rumor has it that the master of the darkness-shrouded mansion hid a treasure in the garden behind his home. These days, that garden is just another cemetery, and the master is long gone. Or is he? Some say that he's still guarding his treasure to this very day, smashing all that come close." --Daroach, in Kirby Mass Attack
