Sandy Canyon - Stage 8 is a stage in Sandy Canyon, from Kirby Mass Attack. 7 Kirbys are needed to enter the stage.

Overview[edit]

The stage begins outside of a ruins area, there the Kirbys will need to deal with many Clanksprouts. Along the way, blockades will be blown away by the Blambooms, which the Kirbys must also contend with.

Using a cannon, the path continues into the ruins, where some Gegs need to be dealt with. From there, past several enemies, another cannon leads upward.

In the ruin depths, the Kirbys can use a Block Bomb to clear the way forward, which will lead into the fight with Giga Clanksprout. Defeating this stubborn foe yields the stage exit.

Medal guide[edit]

Medal 1
If you can't break blocks by jumping into them, find other ways to get the job done. Maybe cannonballs will go flying over your head? Those might do the trick. Though you may need to lower a Blamboom to fire cannonballs exactly at the level you need. And the Clanksprouts that shoot out of the earth can be lured to strike exactly where you want. A side door can be seen blocked off by metal blocks. The Clanksprout which initially opens the way for the Kirbys will be needed to bust through this barrier. Once inside, the Kirbys will need to make use of a Blamboom stack to obtain the medal from behind another metal block barrier.

Medal 2
If you notice metal blocks anywhere near a Blamboom cannon, see if it will blast through them all. It's said there's a golden treasure in such a place. A metal block formation can be seen above the Kirbys' heads on a bridge out of the ruins. The Kirbys need to wait for the Blamboom offscreen to break away the blocks, revealing this medal.

Medal 3
Be sure to take 10 Kirbys into the stage with all the Blamboom cannons. That's easier said than done. It's hard to maneuver near those Blambooms! Under the same bridge from before, a side-door can be accessed. Here, the Kirbys can nab another medal if there are 10 of them.

Medal 4
In the desert, you're going to get trapped in a chamber with some egg-like creatures. They're called Gegs. And one Geg has a pull ring inside its body. I bet that pull ring can help you find a medal somewhere. After defeating the Gegs, the Kirbys can pull a chain to raise the wall to the right. The Rainbow Medal is lodged within, behind some Star Blocks.

Medal 5
Find the chamber where a whole row of Clanksprouts tries to keep you from going through. Don't go through too quickly. Defeat a certain one to find a medal it's hiding. Or use a cannon in a crafty way to get rid of them all at once. I think you'll need to pile at least six Kirbys into that cannon, however... Where the path splits, one of the many Clanksprouts in the lower path has a medal in its grip.
