Bolum[Japanese title] is a robotic bomb-like enemy that debuted in Kirby Super Star. Originally an enemy only appearing in the stage before the Galactic Nova Nucleus battle, it later returned in Kirby: Planet Robobot as an enemy that can be summoned by the game's secret final boss, now providing the Bomb Copy Ability.

Game appearances[edit]

Kirby Super Star / Kirby Super Star Ultra[edit]

In Kirby Super Star and its remake, Kirby Super Star Ultra, Bolums can only be encountered in the Galactic Nova stage of Milky Way Wishes. They walk on the ceiling and floor of the stage and shoot small projectiles at Kirby.

Kirby Planet Robobot[edit]

In Kirby: Planet Robobot, Bolum appears exclusively in the fourth phase of the battle against Star Dream Soul OS in The True Arena, when summoned by the boss with its "Supervisor Call" attack, alongside Patas and Dakugas. It provides the Bomb Copy Ability when swallowed.
