“ | One route will lead you to Tortletummy. He's a big-bellied foe who keeps his treasure hidden. In his belly, that is. There must be some way to get it out of him. | ” | — Daroach, in Kirby Mass Attack |
Tortletummy is a Mid-Boss in Kirby Mass Attack. He appears in Green Grounds - Stage 10, residing in an underwater chamber. He sits reclined at all times, leaving his ample belly exposed to attack by the Kirbys, who have to be flicked into him to deal damage. Tortletummy will attempt to defend himself by causing strong currents of water to carry in sparks which can hurt the Kirbys. However, the Mid-Boss can only do this for so long before becoming exhausted. Tortletummy rewards 3,000 points when defeated.
Tortletummy appears again in Dedede Resort - Stage 5, this time sporting a purple hue. He fights much the same, though he also recruits the aid of Tortletummy Thorns which jut out of the walls to try and prick the Kirbys while their master creates a current toward them. Once defeated here, Tortletummy will spit out a Rainbow Medal.
Tortletummy is faced one more time in Survival Rush, where he can be found behind the three-Kirby door.

Trivia[edit]
- There are unused images in the game files of Kirby Mass Attack that depict Tortletummy with progressively smaller belly sizes. It is possible that this was once meant to be incorporated into his fight in some fashion.
