A final boss (sometimes referred to as a last boss) is the term used to describe the last boss in a video game, or a mode within a game. The Kirby series is no stranger to this idea, with most games in the series utilizing bosses, and by extension final bosses. There are a couple things that set apart final bosses from regular bosses:
A final boss (sometimes referred to as a last boss) is a boss that is fought as the last opponent at the climax of a video game, or a mode within a game. Almost every game within the Kirby series utilizes the concept of final bosses, often using multiple final bosses within various modes. There are a couple things that set apart final bosses from regular bosses:
*A final boss is naturally the last boss that appears in a game or mode.
*A final boss is naturally the last boss that appears in a game or mode.
*Final bosses are almost always the strongest foes in their respective games or modes, often having the most health and having multiple phases.
*Final bosses are almost always the strongest foes in their respective games or modes, often having the most health and multiple phases.
*Final bosses are often fought in their own level at the end of a game's Story Mode, such as The Fountain of Dreams or Mind in the Program, though this is not always the case.
*Final bosses are often fought in their own level at the end of a game's Story Mode, such as The Fountain of Dreams, Dark Star, or Mind in the Program, though they are sometimes not the only boss fought there.
*Final bosses almost always have their own unique boss music not heard during any other gameplay in the game they appear in, such as "Vs. Marx" or "Fatal Blooms in Moonlight".
*A special ability is often used to fight and/or defeat a final boss. This is most often a unique Last Battle Ability like the Star Rod, Ribbon's Crystal, or Big-Rig Mouth, but can sometimes by a more common special ability like Tankbot or Hypernova.
*Final bosses almost always have their own unique boss music not heard during any other gameplay in the game they appear in, such as "Vs. Marx", "Last Boss / Second Form", or "Fatal Blooms in Moonlight".
Often, Extra Modes also have their own final bosses, whether it be a complete unique boss or a variant of the Story Mode's final boss. On few occasions, the "true" final boss of a game's Story Mode can only be accessed once a certain milestone has been reached, with the penultimate boss of the game only being a final boss in the bad ending. Each of the many Boss Endurance modes found throughout the series naturally also has a final boss. In most Boss Endurance modes, such as The Arena, the final boss is a mostly unaltered version of the Story Mode's final boss, but tougher variants or difficulties, such as The True Arena, almost always have a unique final boss, most often being a Soul boss.

|After Kirby defeats King Dedede once again, Level 8 starts, and Nightmare is revealed to be the true villain of the game. King Dedede uses his inhale to launch Kirby and the Star Rod towards Nightmare's Power Orb, whom Kirby must defeat using the Star Rod before reaching the ground and losing a life. Afterwards, Nightmare turns into his Nightmare Wizard form, using more attacks to try to take down Kirby. When defeated, Nightmare explodes, leaving a large crater in the moon, but Kirby manages to escape using his Warp Star. Nightmare is also the last boss in the Boss Endurance mode.
|After Kirby defeats King Dedede once again, Kirby collects the last piece of the Star Rod and puts it back into the Fountain of Dreams while Dedede tries to stop him. At first, all seems well, until everything goes dark and an ominous orb appears and flies away. After a bit of panicking, King Dedede uses his inhale to launch Kirby and the Star Rod towards Nightmare's Power Orb, whom Kirby must defeat using the Star Rod while avoiding the stars being shot at him, and before falling back to the ground. Afterwards, Nightmare flies away to the moon and Kirby chases after him using his Warp Star. Nightmare then destroys the Warp Star and transforms into his Nightmare Wizard form, shooting more stars at Kirby to try to take him down. Kirby can use the Star Rod to attack Nightmare's weak spot, that being his tornado-shaped body. When defeated, Nightmare explodes, leaving a large crater in the moon, but Kirby manages to escape using a Warp Star. |King Dedede returns as a final boss in Kirby's Pinball Land. The player must use the flippers to bounce Kirby into the king to deal damage. In the first phase of the fight, King Dedede is fought in the center of a dark room, with the spotlight on him. In this phase, his only attack involves temporarily disabling the flippers by throwing bombs at them. After five hits, the room brightens up, and is revealed to be a boxing ring similar to the one in Kirby's Dream Land. King Dedede starts using many more attacks, including hovering to chase Kirby, using Super Dedede Jump to quickly move around the arena, and strangely even shooting lightning at the flippers to disable them. After 18 more hits, the king gets launched out of the arena, and runs away from all the enemies chasing after him.

|If Kirby managed to collect every Rainbow Drop, he will duel the real villain, Dark Matter Blade, using his newly acquired Rainbow Sword to reflect his attacks. After defeating the swordsman, Dark Matter will reveal his true form, transforming into a large eyeball known as Real Dark Matter. |If Kirby managed to collect every Rainbow Drop, they will combine and manifest into the Rainbow Sword. Right after, it is revealed that the real villain of the game was actually Dark Matter, who was possessing King Dedede. Dark Matter exits his body and Kirby flies after him using the Rainbow Sword. Dark Matter first takes on the form of Dark Matter Blade, who also wields a sword, which he uses to slash at Kirby and shoot dark orbs at him. Kirby can use the Rainbow Sword to attack Dark Matter and reflect his projectiles. After the swordsman is defeated, Dark Matter will reveal his true form, transforming into a large eyeball known as Real Dark Matter. The duo can also destroy 0²'s wings to make it much slower, but 0² can fight back by shooting blood out of its eye and green gas out of its tail. This boss is also the final opponent in the Boss Battles mode.

"Welcome to the New World!" (also stylized as "WELCOME TO THE NEW WORLD!") is a song from Kirby and the Forgotten Land. It is the anthem of the new world, and was a popular song back when the world was still inhabited by its original residents. Its singer, Neichel, was a famous diva in the new world.

The song's melody serves as the basis for many songs in the game's soundtrack, and it is one of the few Kirby series songs to have fully sung lyrics.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land
The song is the basis of many of the game's tracks. Sections of it can also be found in many others.

The song in itself is named and performed in-game multiple times. The first time it's heard is in the cutscene of the same name, which occurs in the Point of Arrival stage near the bridge that leads into Waddle Dee Town. When Car-Mouth Kirby uses Turbo Dash to knock the bridge down in order to drive into Waddle Dee Town, the impact will cause the nearby radio to turn on and begin playing the song.

After the player completes Lab Discovera or Forgo Land for the first time, the full version of the song (titled "Welcome to the New World! (Full)" in-game) will play during the credits accompanied by photos of Kirby's adventure. Once the Waddle Live! Corner Stage is fully upgraded, The Deedly Dees can be requested to play an instrumental version called "Welcome to the New World! (Bonus Track)".

The theme is also remixed numerous times:
*"Ready to Go!" - An electronic guitar remix used as the title screen theme.
*"Blue, Blue Breeze" - An arrangement that plays during the first Arch Mouth and Coaster Mouth sections.
*"Waddle Dee Town" - An acoustic remix used as Waddle Dee Town's main theme.
*"Originull Wasteland" - A dramatic arrangement with elements of "Running Through the New World" and "The Wastes Where Life Began". Used when hovering over Originull Wasteland on the world map.
*"Forgo's Treasures" - An electric-like remix used for Treasure Road stages in Originull Wasteland and Redgar Forbidden Lands.
*"Redgar Forbidden Lands" - A dramatic arrangement with elements of "Running Through the New World" and "Plundering Beast Battle". Used when hovering over Redgar Forbidden Lands on the world map.
*"Elfilin" - A calm, piano remix used after defeating Leongar in Lab Discovera and at the start of the "Slumbering, Caged Leon" cutscene.
*"The Fate of Two Worlds" - An intense cutscene theme used after freeing Elfilin from Fecto Elfilis.
*"Soaring Determination: No Night Is Eternal" - The ending cutscene of the game that also features hints of "A New Wind for Tomorrow" at the end.
*"In Pursuit of Victory" - A blood-pumping rock remix used in The Ultimate Cup Z's rest areas prior to rounds 1-11.
*"Try Again Tomorrow... Again!" - The theme that plays after failing in The Ultimate Cup Z.
*"Finding the Light" - The theme for the cutscene with the same name. It starts out with violin, eventually adding more instruments as the song goes.
*"A Thriving, Peaceful Town" - A remix of "Waddle Dee Town" with more instruments, as well as added motifs of other themes.
*"Got 'Em All! Gotcha Machine Master" - A remix with many instruments. Used when checking the Figure Collection upon collecting every Figure in the game.
*"NEW WORLD: 100%" - A short jingle based on "Welcome to the New World!" that plays when achieving 100% completion.

Some themes only partially include "Welcome to the New World!":
*"Interview" - An arrangement of "Running Through the New World" that includes hints of "Welcome to the New World!" throughout.
*"Enter the Fiery Forbidden Lands" - A dramatic minor arrangement of both "Running Through the New World" and "Welcome to the New World!".
*"The Beast Pack's Final Stand" - An intense remix of "Welcome to the New World!", "VS. Dangerous Beast", and many unique sections.
*"The Dream Discoveries Tour" - An audio track that features "Welcome to the New World!" and "The Smell of a Scary Beast".
*"Two Planets Approach the Roche Limit" - A largely original track that features sections from "Welcome to the New World!" and "The Battle of Blizzard Bridge".
*"A Full-Speed Farewell from the New World" - An electronic guitar remix of "Invincible Candy" and "Welcome to the New World!".
*"Isolated Isles: Forgo Dreams" - The level hub theme for the eponymous mode based on "The Raging Lion Roars" and "VS. Psychic Power Given Form" that includes hints of "Welcome to the New World!".
*"Morpho Knight" - The boss theme for Morpho Knight that includes a remix of "Welcome to the New World!" in its second half.
*"Kirby, the Beasts, and the King" - The ending cutscene theme for Isolated Isles: Forgo Dreams that contains hints of "Welcome to the New World!" and "The Raging Lion Roars".
*"Hero Interview" - A triumphant arrangement of "Running Through the New World" and "Welcome to the New World!".
*"From Those Who Departed for Space" - A medley of "A Trip to Alivel Mall", "Running Through the New World", and "Welcome to the New World!", used as the theme for the credits seen in Waddle Dee Cinema.

Unfortunately for him, some of these enemies give Kirby Super Abilities, allowing Kirby to break the barrier using the Ultra Sword to slice through Magolor. However, this attack triggers the Master Crown to fully take over Magolor's body, transforming him into his second form, and quickly taking away Kirby's Ultra Sword. This form has the powers to dash through wormholes, create painful rifts in dimensions, and even use attacks based on Ultra Sword, Flare Beam, and Monster Flame. Eventually, Kirby and his friends manage to defeat him, freeing Magolor from the Master Crown and escaping from the collapsing dimension on top of Landia. Both of these fights also appears as the final bosses of The Arena, although the Super Ability phase is skipped.

|In Extra Mode and The True Arena, Magolor's second form is replaced by a stronger version known Magolor Soul, being fought after Magolor EX. This boss has many souped up attacks, performing attacks much faster. He also has a new attack based on Grand Hammer and Snow Bowl, known as Grand Snow Hammer, where he slams a hammer on the ground to freeze it and summon large icicles. In The True Arena in Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, Magolor Soul gains a much harder fight. Starting off, Magolor Soul immediately shoots two giant lasers to cover almost the entire screen. He can also keep around Deadly Needles for much longer, create back to back dimensional rifts, and even summon two Black Holes at the same time. After his health bar is depleted, Magolor Soul gets knocked away, drops a single apple, and enters his new second phase by using brand new attacks based on the Sand and Mecha abilities introduced in the remake. For the rest of the fight, Magolor Soul uses many deadlier combinations of attacks, and also has a lot more health. An altered version of "Supreme Ruler's Coronation - OVERLORD" from Kirby Star Allies also replaced "C-R-O-W-N-E-D" during this fight.

|After Taranza fails to stop Kirby from defeating his rival, he calls Queen Sectonia for help, but she immediately blasts him away and introduces herself to Kirby before beginng to fight him. Sectonia has the ability to teleport, and primarily uses her magical staffs to shoot lightning at Kirby, often transforming them into rapiers. In her second phase, she summons a massive jewel and launches Kirby onto it, continuing to attack and summoning Antlers while Kirby must avoid falling off. After being brought back to the main arena, Kirby defeats the queen, who in a last-ditch effort fuses with the Dreamstalk to transform into Flowered Sectonia and spread vines all across Popstar. Luckily, the People of the Sky appear with a cannon, which King Dedede uses to launch Kirby toward the flowered queen to take her down. Flowered Sectonia uses multiple eye stalks to shoot, slash, and launch at Kirby. Each time the stalks are taken down, Kirby is brought to another section with less ground to stand on. After the queen's supposed to defeat, Kirby's celebration gets cut short when a vine grabs him. As he screams for help, Taranza and King Dedede appear to free him from Sectonia's grasp, and throw him into a Miracle Fruit to transform him into Hypernova Kirby. The powerfull puffball can suck up Sectonia's attacks and send them right back at her to break her defenses, and eventually inhales her giant laser beam, spitting it out back in her direction to put her into her eternal beauty sleep. Flowered Sectonia is also the final boss faced in The Arena, although the Hypernova phase is skipped.

While still using many of Meta Knight's attacks, the dark knight also gained some new attacks since his last appearance. His primary new attack is called Blade Burst, which involves him summoning giant Galaxia-shaped blades from the ground. At the start of his second phase, Dark Meta Knight hides himself in a piece of glass and creates two fake clones of himself, with all three attacking King Dedede at the same time. If the king hits a clone, it will shatter into glass that homes in on him. After a couple attacks, Dark Meta Knight fuses back into one to start attacking a lot more aggressively. A major difference is that Soul of Sectonia begins using four eye stalks in the third section of the fight, instead of the fourth. She also has a new attack called Vine bind where she shoots spiky vines at Kirby, and she can summon a new Antler variant known as Lord Antler. After her first health bar is drained, Sectonia seperates herself from the Dreamstalk and begins to rapidly fly and teleport across the arena. She also starts using many classic Soul boss attacks, including Shooter Cutter, Splash Rush, and a combination of Bound Pound and Deadly Sun called Deadly Bound Sun. Aside from these attacks, she uses even harder to avoid Vine Bind attacks, and summons many Antlers and laser beams. Galacta Knight fights in largely the same way as in his appearance in Kirby's Return to Dream Land, with some differences. Galacta Knight can now jump during Spin Slash, uses his Glide Sword attack from the background, summons more sets of lightning bolts in a row during Rising Spine, summons tornadoes from the background, upgrades his Twelve Energy Shower into Twenty Energy Shower, and has a brand new attack where he slashes an unguardable rift through Another Dimension. |Galacta Knight's large slash in Meta Knightmare Returns seemingly activated Star Dream's "final program", transforming it into Star Dream Soul OS, the final boss of The True Arena. Like most Soul bosses, the boss's main upgrade is its speed and quantity of attacks. Its first form also supports a new red and black color scheme, and seemingly drops blood right before the fight. In the second phase, Star Dream Soul OS unexpectedly starts by using its Install Hole attack. The color scheme of the third phase switched from silver to gold, making its appearance even closer to that of Galactic Nova, and the Fatal Error is way harder to avoid getting defeated by. After the third phase is beaten, a similar cutscene as the one in Story Mode plays, but instead of creating a shield, Star Dream Soul OS inhales Kirby, taking him to a unique final phase. The first half of this phase is very similar to the fight with Galactic Nova Nucleus, requiring Kirby to destroy 3 sets of of pillars, albeit without the Starship. When all are defeated, the heart-shaped object starts attacking Kirby in a similar fashion to previous Soul bosses, teleporting around and using Shooter Cutter, splitting itself into a blue and pink orb similar to Marx Soul's Deadly Ball, raining Patas, Dakugas, and Bolums similar to Splash Rush, and blasting lasers. Uniquely, after its health bar reaches zero, Star Dream Soul OS uses a last-ditch series of three waves that can instantly defeat Kirby if he is not at practically full health. If Kirby manages to avoid the attack, the fight finally ends.

|After all other enemies in Level 5-5 are defeated, King Dedede appears to try to clobber Kirby once again. King Dedede has all his usual attacks, but is fought in full 3D for the first time. Because of this, some of his attacks have added shockwaves to make them less easy to avoid. Kirby can use the available Star Blocks to quickly defeat the king and launchs him off his castle. Suddenly, a Sparkling Star appears, which King Dedede takes to transform into Giant King Dedede. The big king uses his giant hammer to smash down on Kirby, creating large shockwaves and many Dropped Stars, and he also uses an even larger inhale. Kirby can use Blaster Bullets to defeat the king. In Level 5-5EX, Dedede's two forms are titled King Dedede's Revenge and Giant King Dedede's Revenge, and support a purple color scheme similar to that of Masked Dedede's Revenge. King Dedede's Revenge uses more faster attacks, while Giant King Dedede's Revenge's hammer can leave electricity on the ground that chases after Kirby.

However, this time, after King Dedede grabs the Sparkling Star, he transforms into Giant Masked Dedede, featuring a design even more similar to Masked Dedede's Revenge. Using his giant hammer, Giant Masked Dedede can fire a barrage of missiles at Kirby, and also shoot a downward laser that chases after Kirby and leaves harmful heat on the ground, before the masked king smashes it onto the floor to create a large shockwave. During the inhale attack, many Gordos will also be inhaled, which Kirby will have to maneuver around without slowing down too much. Eventually, his mask falls off, the heroes get sucked into his body and begin attacking the insides while avoiding strange attacks, also freeing Hyness and the mages. After getting launched out, Void Termina forms giant wings and begins using large elemental bows, and shooting lasers from giant crowns. Using the same strategy, the team enters his body again, coming across Void Termina's true form, a purple sphere who begins resembling the faces of Kirby, Dark Matter, and 0², using many familiar attacks like Bound Pound, Black Hole, and Miracle Matter's Needle attack, and even brainwashing Kirby's friends. During the rest of the phase, the Mage-Sisters use much more difficult combinations of attacks, often leaving almost no space to avoid being assaulted. After their defeat, the heroes can finally finish their dance, and, if at least 100 Friend Hearts were collected throughout the mode, Kirby will magically obtain a giant Friend Heart, which he throws at The Three Mage-Sisters, who quietly thank Kirby, restoring the altar and giving him a way back home, also are also unlocked as playable Dream Friends. ===Kirby's Dream Buffet===
Navbox-Game Design
If the player has Kirby and the Forgotten Land save data on their Switch, then after completing their first Gourmet Grand Prix, three music tracks from the game automatically unlock and have a chance to play during races. The full vocal version of "Welcome to the New World!" is one of these tracks, labelled as "Kirby and the Forgotten Land: Bonus Song 3" in-game. Much like "Green Tree Memories from Kirby" and the "King Dedede Medley", the music won't switch to a different track during the minigame portion of the Gourmet Grand Prix.

Other appearances
The short version of the song, edited to seamlessly loop, is used as the default theme for the Kirby and the Forgotten Land Maximus Cup in Tetris 99. "Ready to Go!" is used on the results screen after coming in 1st place using said theme.

The song appeared as a special performance during the Kirby 30th Anniversary Music Festival, where it was sung as a duet between Neichel (the anonymous, female singer) and Makiko Ohmoto (the voice of Kirby). The first half was sung in the new world language, while the second - in Japanese. In addition, "Soaring Determination: No Night Is Eternal", an arrangement of "Welcome to the New World!", was incorporated into Kirby Endings medley, alongside "Milky Way Wishes: Staff Credits", "Project K-64", the ending theme from Kirby: Squeak Squad, "Return to Dream Land", and "A New Wind for Tomorrow".

*In the various promotional trailers for Kirby and the Forgotten Land such as the "Copy Abilities and Co-op" trailer, an instrumental version of "Welcome to the New World!" is used. This version differs from the instrumental found in the game; it features an electric guitar and organ playing the main melody, while the game version uses a flute.
*According to Shinya Kumazaki, he first wrote the Japanese lyrics and then translated them into the new world language. The sung language is a mixture of corrupted Japanese and English. One of the words in the language is the singer's name, Neichel (ネイチェル), which means "nature" and is a corrupted Japanese spelling of "natural" (also used in the level Natural Plains).
**The Chinese and Korean lyrics are direct translations of the Japanese lyrics. The lyrics for the other languages seem to be based on the English lyrics.
**The singer's real-life identity has not been revealed, but she appeared in-person for the Kirby 30th Anniversary Music Festival.
*Shinya Kumazaki has mentioned that "Welcome to the New World!" is both a song that represents its origin game and "the hopes of people who dream of departing for a new world" (新たな世界への旅立ちを夢見た人々の希望). The lyrics of the song, in particular in Japanese, are worded in a way that indeed evoke a sense of invitation to leave for a new world, in particular to a "land of dreams" exactly as Leongar mentions in the game. Whether that is meant to be taken literally (as in, that this song was used to invite the habitants of the new world to leave for a "land of dreams"), or figuratively, is unknown.
*"Welcome to the New World!" is Tatsuya Kamiyama's favorite theme from Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

Final boss[edit]

This article or section is under construction. Therefore, please excuse its informal appearance while it's being worked on. We hope to have it completed as soon as possible.
Reason: I had an intrusive thought to make this and now we're here. Please help.

King Dedede, the first and most common final boss in the Kirby series.

List of final bosses[edit]

A lot.

The following table lists every final boss in the Kirby series, in chronological order:

Final bosses in the Kirby series
Boss Game(s) Mode(s) Description
King Dedede1KDL Super Dedede Jump.png
King Dedede
Kirby's Dream Land Normal Game
Extra Game
King Dedede is the very first final boss in the series, being the main antagonist and final boss of Kirby's Dream Land. He can use his hammer, inhale, and Super Dedede Jump to battle Kirby in his castle atop Mt. Dedede. Kirby is able to attack back by inhaling the Dropped Stars left by some of his attacks, and spitting them back at him. After his defeat, the king gets launched out of his castle and Kirby collects the final Sparkling Star, using it to transform into a giant balloon to give back the stolen food to Dream Land's citizens. In Extra Game, King Dedede is also the final boss, and uses his attacks more aggressively.

Extra Game
Boss Endurance
Nightmare is also the last boss in the Extra Game and Boss Endurance modes.

King Dedede
Kirby's Pinball Land Main Mode(?) King Dedede returns as a final boss in Kirby's Pinball Land.
Robo Dedede1KDC Robo Dedede.png
Robo Dedede
Kirby's Dream Course Single-player
Single-player Extra Game
Kirby's Dream Course only features one boss, known as Robo Dedede. It is a robotic version of King Dedede, piloted by the king himself. This boss is fought in its very own Course, which is the last Course of the game's single-player mode. Robo Dedede has the ability to summon smaller robots called Chibi Dededes to attack Kirby.

King Dedede
Kirby's Dream Land 2 Story Mode (bad ending) In the last stage of Dark Castle, King Dedede stands at the very top of the castle to fight Kirby. While using many of his well-known attacks, he performs them much more slowly, and often even falls asleep in the middle of the battle. After a while, King Dedede seems to get angry and throws away his hammer, starting to fume with rage and beginning to use many crazier versions of his attacks. However, King Dedede is only the final boss of the game if Kirby has not collected all Rainbow Drops, resulting in a bad ending. Otherwise, King Dedede is the second to last boss, and the real evil force will exit his body.
Dark Matter1KDL2 Dark Matter Fight 1.png
Dark Matter
Story Mode
BOSS
This form can create more dark orbs out of his body to shoot at Kirby, shoot bolds of lightning, and quickly dash through the air. During this phase, Kirby will slowly fall down to the ground, and if he does not defeat Dark Matter fast enough, he will lose a life because of it. After winning the fight, Kirby safely flies back to the ground using the Rainbow Sword. Dark Matter is also the final opponent Kirby will face in this game's BOSS mode.
BroboKBBa Brobo.png
Brobo
Kirby's Block Ball Main Mode (bad ending) If Kirby was unable to get the Border Line score in every previous stage, Stage 10 will be the last stage on his journey, resulting in a bad ending. This stage features the unique boss Brobo. (Maybe some more stuff here.)

Main Mode King Dedede is the true final boss of the game, appearing in Stage 11. Kirby must defeat him to collect the Sparkling Stars and save the day. (Maybe some more more stuff here.)

Spring Breeze Due to Spring Breeze following essentially the same plot as Kirby's Dream Land, King Dedede naturally reappears as the final boss of this mode, again being fought on Mt. Dedede and using many of the same attacks to try to defeat Kirby. This time, however, Kirby has the ability to use Copy Abilities and summon Helpers to take down the king more easily.

This giant bird is able to fly across the stage, breathe out fire from her beak, grab Kirby using her claws, and peck Kirby using her extendable neck. After her defeat, it is revealed that the reason for her havoc was that she was simply trying to feed her chicks, so Kirby helps out her chicks and the two become friendly with each other.

The Great Cave Offensive Wham Bam Rock is an enormous boss that Kirby will have to battle at the end of The Great Cave Offensive. This strange creature always hides in the background, and his attacks consist of using his large rocky hands to try to squish Kirby into the ground, punch him into a side of the screen, grab and squish him in the palm of his hand, walk his fingers across the ground only to kick Kirby, drop rocks from the ceiling, turn his fingers into falling boulders, and shoot projectiles out of his fingers. If Kirby manages to survive, a door will be shown to him, and he will be able to safely escape the great cave.

Meta Knight's battle takes place in the last chapter of the mode. Like in Kirby's Adventure, he offers Kirby a sword, but this time, Kirby is able to deny the offer by giving the sword to his Helper instead. Since his original fight, Meta Knight has learned many new attacks, including summong giant tornadoes that move across the screen, turning himself into a tornad, gliding through the air, and shooting waves of energy out of his sword. After the swordsman's defeat, Kirby rushes to leave the crashing Halberd using Wheelie Rider, but Meta Knight flies after Kirby in an attempt to stop him from fleeing.

After collecting all the stars in Milky Way Wishes, Kirby summons Galactic Nova to make his wish to stop the sun and moon from fighting. Unforunately, Marx suddenly appears to push Kirby away and wish to take over Popstar. Using the stars, Kirby creates the Starship to take down Galactic Nova Nucleus and follow after the jester, who revealed his true form after betraying Kirby. During the fight, Marx often teleports around, and can use many curious attacks, including shooting boomerangs out of his body, summoning Black Holes, dropping seeds on the ground that grow into painful vines, jumping into Kirby from a shadow in the ground, shooting hundreds of arrows out of his body, dropping bombs that split into balls of ice, and even shooting a giant laser out of his mouth. After his defeat, Marx gets launched into Galactic Nova, which promptly explodes, allowing Kirby to make his triumphant return back to Popstar. Marx is also the last opponent faced in The Arena.

After the sorceress's defeat, she morphs into a spherical ball of paint to become the Kirby series' first Soul boss: Drawcia Soul. This ghostly creature's primary attack involves summoning Para Matters, which the Magical Paintbrush will have to hit back at her. Similar to Marx, she can use an aggressive variant of Shooter Cutter, and often teleports around, during which she can be stunned by the Magical Paintbrush to let Kirby dash into her. The fight takes place in an arena similar to the one in Spring Breeze, but this one notably has an electrified fence above it, and the only audience member is Bandana Waddle Dee. Kirby is also offered a hammer before Masked Dedede jumps into the arena and the fight begins. Masked Dedede is naturally able to use Inhale, Head Slide, Hover, Super Dedede Jump, and regular hammer attacks, but can also use his new hammer to shoot out missiles and flames, as well as quickly spin around the arena, which Kirby will have to hover over while carefully avoiding the electricity. Other than this, Wham Bam Jewel uses largely the same attacks as Wham Bam Rock, with some minor differences. As his name implies, Galacta Knight is similar to Meta Knight in many ways, being a circular creature with a mask and wings, though Galacta Knight is almost constantly hovering over the ground. Galacta Knight has many attacks similar to Meta Knight, using his lance to perform slash attacks, shoot Crescent Shots, and thrust down when in midair, move around as a tornado similar to Mach Tornado, create a large tornado that moves around the stage, and glide around while bouncing off the ground. Additionally, he is able to create shockwaves, summon pillars of fire, shoot a beam that rotates around the stage, and even summon clones of the Meta-Knights.

Marx Soul also has two attacks inspired by Drawcia Soul; Splash Marx and Deadly Ball. The former attack's paint blobs can be swallowed for the Paint ability, but unlike in its other appearances, this ability is practically useless against Marx Soul, only dealing a tiny amount of damage. After this, Yin-Yarn summons various enemies which can be turned into yarn balls to throw at Yin-Yarn. After enough hits, Yin-Yarn seems to be defeated, and Kirby and Prince Fluff obtain the last piece of Magic Yarn, but before their dance could finish, it is revealed that Yin-Yarn is actually the pair of knitting needles, who swiftly create a new body for themselves known as Mega Yin-Yarn. Luckily, Landia appears to carry Kirby and co. to chase after Magolor through Another Dimension. Magolor brings out the Lor Starcutter to try to stop them, but it gets taken down, so Magolor shoots the heroes down to battle them directly. Magolor mostly uses Magic Sphere and Deadly Needles to attack, but can also create Black Holes and summon Sphere Doomers from dimensional rifts, and can even flip the camera upside down. After depleting his health, Magolor creates a magic barrier to protect himself, but also summons enemies to attack Kirby and co.

Star Dream Soul OS
The True Arena Galacta Knight's large slash in Meta Knightmare Returns seemingly activated Star Dream's "final program", transforming it into Star Dream Soul OS, the final boss of The True Arena.

The Ultimate Choice (Soul Melter) Void Termina is faced once again at the end of the Soul Melter difficulty of The Ultimate Choice, using a couple harder versions of his regular attacks, like creating more shockwaves and using four bows at once, and also having a much bright blue color scheme. The main differences begin in the fourth phase, where the original version of Void Termina is replaced by the Essence of Chaos: Void Soul. This form also has a light blue color scheme, and has a couple new attacks. He can use Shooter Cutter like almost every other Soul boss, his "Loud Song" attack has more complex patterns of lasers, he creates three clones of himself during the "Full Smile attack" to cover more of the arena with needles and during "Sprint" to attack every part of the floor, he summons more minions to create Black Holes, and during certain attacks, he can submerge the arena in water to electrocute and make it harder to avoid his attacks. He can also drop a new type of star that gives the Wing ability. After this phase is finished, Void Soul cycles through many different faces before exploding into a bright light with a shocked expression.

The Three Mage-Sisters
Heroes in Another Dimension Following Corrupt Hyness's defeat at the end of Heroes in Another Dimension, Kirby and his friends get ready to dance, but Zan Partizanne suddenly appears. Noticing Kirby next to Hyness's unconscious body, she calls for Francisca and Flamberge, and the three decide to repay their depth and take revenge on Kirby. Thus, the Repentant Retaliators, The Three Mage-Sisters, begin attacking Kirby and his friends all at the same time. At first, only two mages will be on the battlefield at once, using all their attacks seen in Story Mode. After enough damage is dealt, however, the mages get angry and enter their second phase, using their most powerful attacks all at the same time, which Kirby can very easily be combo'd and defeated by if he is not careful. As Kirby heads back home, a tiny Friend Heart falls off the Warp Star and drifts onto Hyness, reverting his corruption.

The Ultimate Choice (Soul Melter EX) At the very end of the Soul Melter EX difficulty of The Ultimate Choice, the final challenge awaits Kirby and his friends, The True Destroyer of Worlds: Void Termina. Unlike his Soul Melter equivalent, the first three phases of the fight with this red behemoth acts much differently — most notably, in the first and third phases, the first four eyes on his body are all hittable at the same time. The cooldowns between attacks are much shorter, and attacks have different patterns. In the second phase, a Maxim Tomato can be obtained by destroying the big letter. After these three phases, the true final challenge of the game awaits: the Astral Birth Void. Not only does this form have a new white coloration and unique nostalgic music, but his attacks are of course much more difficult. Void no longer uses Circle of Friends or Bon Appétit, but starts off with a more challenging variant of Pleasant Dream. His Shooter Cutter is way more aggressive, he can create water during Sprint, Full Smile is used twice in a row with his three clones, he can use a replica of Dark Mind's laser attack that bounces off diagonal mirrors, he can now use Deadly Sun, and Loud Song has more harder and longer variants. As Void is defeated, he once again cycles through many different faces, before eventually exploding into another bright light, now with a Kirby-like smile on his face.
