- This article is about the Battle Stage. For the Fountain of Dreams in a more general context, see Fountain of Dreams.
- This article is about the stage in Kirby Fighters Deluxe and Kirby Fighters 2, and should not be confused with the stage in the Super Smash Bros. series.
Fountain of Dreams is a Battle Stage that appears in Kirby Fighters Deluxe and Kirby Fighters 2. It is based on the titular location from Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land, using its general appearance and music. In Kirby Fighters Deluxe, it serves as the final stage in the Single Player Mode, where Kirby must battle Team DDD.
Layout[edit]
Fountain of Dreams is a completely flat stage with no obstacles or stage hazards. It is decently large in size, allowing a fair amount of room for maneuvering.
The stage features the titular fountain in the background, with the Star Rod shining brightly at its top. In Kirby Fighters Deluxe, the fountain and its surroundings are rendered in full 3-D, though playing Single Player mode on Very Hard changes it to its classic 2-D look. In Kirby Fighters 2, only the classic look is available.
Unlock requirements[edit]
In Kirby Fighters 2, Fountain of Dreams is the last stage which can be unlocked via the Fighters Rank system, attainable at Level 81. The secret song for the stage is unlocked at Fighters Rank 100.
Origin[edit]

- Main article: Fountain of Dreams
Fountain of Dreams takes its aesthetic and main theme music from the location of the same name in Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land. In this title, the fountain serves as the location where Kirby and King Dedede do battle over the Star Rod which is meant to power the fountain and bring dreams to the people of Dream Land. The layout of the stage is practically identical to the original location it is based off of.
