Bubbles[Japanese title] is a round, ball-shaped enemy in Kirby's Adventure and its remake Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land. It bounces around in an attempt to hit Kirby. Kirby receives the Ball Copy Ability when swallowing Bubbles.

In Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land and Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, Bubbles also appear in the Bomb Rally Sub-Game. A Bubbles fills in for a Kirby opponent if it is hit by a bomb, which blasts it off-screen. Right after replacing the Kirby, the Bubbles serves the bomb to a nearby Kirby. The bombs bounce off Bubbles at the same speed they were received at, and they cannot miss hitting it.

Appearance[edit]

Bubbles is a simple blue sphere with large eyes, rosy cheeks, and a perpetual smile. Their Kirby's Adventure sprite shows them as either pink or green, whereas their alternate Nightmare in Dream Land palette is purple.
