Vegetable Valley - Stage 4 is the fourth and final normal stage of the first world, Vegetable Valley, in Kirby's Adventure and its remake, Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land. It takes place before the boss fight against Whispy Woods.

Overview[edit]

This stage takes place in four primary areas, situated in a deep forest environment. The first has Kirby climb up a ladder to find an enclosed wooded space where he must do battle with Mr. Frosty. The door appears once this foe is felled.

In the second area, Kirby can use his newly acquired Freeze ability to quickly dispatch all of the foes in his way as he walks along a set of log bridges.

In the third area, Kirby climbs up the inside of a hollow tree trunk guarded by Togezo (or Needlous) and other foes.

The last area takes place out in the canopies. Kirby will stumble across the first Invincible Candy (Meta Knight gifts Kirby with this in Kirby's Adventure). Using this, Kirby will be able to carelessly steamroll all of the enemies on this path, and also grab a 1-Up from Shotzos on guard before reaching the stage exit.

  • In Kirby's Adventure, this stage marks the first appearance of Meta Knight in the entire Kirby series.
    • Less notably, this stage also marks the first appearance of Mr. Frosty, the Needle ability, and Ladders in the series.
