Masher 2.0 is the 65th episode of the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! series. In this episode, an injured Knuckle Joe returns to Dream Land, seeking assistance after barely surviving a battle Masher 2.0. After recovering from his injures, Knuckle Joe returns for a rematch. He fails to even dent it. Differences between versions
- No major scenes were removed in the 4Kids dub. However, very minor scenes were cut due to time restraints.
Dialogue differences
- In the Japanese version, when King Dedede and Doctor Escargon find the memory chip, they plan to sell it to Holy Nightmare Co. for a high price, rather than in the 4Kids dub, where they plan to turn harmless creatures into monsters without them.
- In the Japanese version, Sword Knight shows annoyance at Masher 2.0's disinterest in them, rather than stating that it is only after Knuckle Joe.
- In the Japanese version, Knuckle Joe is mostly silent as he reminds Fumu of Masher's past form, rather than explaining what he did at the time through most of it.
Trivia
- This episode is one of the few that contains blood. While Knuckle Joe is dodging Masher 2.0's flail, one of the spikes grazes his cheek.
- It is unknown if King Dedede nor Escargoon ever even knew of Masher 2.0's existence.
- This episode marks the first time someone other than King Dedede or Escargoon has driven the Royal Racecar.
- Escargoon's box of gems that King Dedede pulls out has a lock on it in the shape of his head.
