Kirby: Right Back at Ya! is a song that plays in most foreign language dubs of Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, used for both the intro and outro. It was composed for the English 4Kids dub, but translations of the song are used in most other countries outside of Japan, with the notable exceptions of the Chinese version (which used the Japanese themes) and the Italian version (which used its own unique theme song). The animation that goes with the theme shows a montage of scenes from the anime's episodes, and clips from the original Kirby ★ March animation. The song is in F Major and goes at 170 beats per minute.

Lyrics

Kirby, Kirby, Kirby

That's the name you should know

Kirby, Kirby, Kirby

He's the star of the show!

He's more than you think,

He's got maximum pink

Kirby, Kirby, Kirby's the one!

He comes right back at ya!

He comes right back at ya!

Give it all that you've got,

Take your very best shot

He'll send it right back at ya for sure! Yeah!

(N.M.E. Sales Guy: How can I help you, King Dedede?

King Dedede: I need a monster to clobber that there Kirby!

N.M.E. Sales Guy: That's what we do best at N.M.E.!

Escargoon: You'd better get it with a money-back guarantee!)

Kirby, Kirby, Kirby

Saving the day!

Kirby, Kirby, Kirby

He's here to stay!

Don't be fooled by his size

You won't believe your eyes

Kirby, (Kirby!)

Kirby, (Kirby!)

Kirby, (Kirby!)

Kirby, Kirby, Kirby's the one!

RIGHT BACK AT YA! YEAH!

Kirby, Kirby, Kirby

Ele agora chegou

Kirby, Kirby, Kirby

É o astro do show!

Sem medo de nada

Na estrela voou

Kirby, Kirby, Kirby chegou

E todo mau combate!

E todo mau combate!

Tendo perigo

Em qualquer lugar

Kirby vem para ajudar

(N.M.E. Sales Guy: Posso ajudá-lo Rei Dedede?

King Dedede: Um pequeno monstro para atacar e destruir Kirby!

N.M.E. Sales Guy: E o melhor para isso é N.M.E.

Escargoon: E deixamos o dinheiro para garantir)

Kirby, Kirby, Kirby

É quem resolve a parada

Kirby, Kirby, Kirby

Não tem medo de nada

Ele é uma estrela

E também é um show

Kirby, (Kirby!)

Kirby, (Kirby!)

Kirby, (Kirby!)

Kirby, Kirby, Kirby chegou!

Kirby, Kirby, Kirby

He has now arrived

Kirby, Kirby, Kirby

Is the star of the show!

Afraid of nothing

On the star he flew

Kirby, Kirby, Kirby has arrived

And he battles all evil!

And he battles all evil!

Having danger

In any place

Kirby comes to help

(N.M.E. Sales Guy: May I help you King Dedede?

King Dedede: A little monster to attack and destroy Kirby!

N.M.E. Sales Guy: And the best for that is N.M.E.

Escargoon: And we leave the money for guarantee)

Kirby, Kirby, Kirby

Is who solves everything

Kirby, Kirby, Kirby

Is afraid of nothing

He is a star

And he's also amazing

Kirby, (Kirby!)

Kirby, (Kirby!)

Kirby, (Kirby!)

Kirby, Kirby, Kirby has arrived!

In Cartoon Buffoon

In the episode Cartoon Buffoon, an alternate abridged version of this theme song plays in which King Dedede supplants Kirby and sings it himself. The lyrics are as follows:

De-de-de;
that's the name you should know!
De-de-de;
he's the king of the show!
You'll holler and hoot;
he'll give Kirby the boot;
De-de-de is the one!
De-de-de is the oooooooone!
Comin' at ya! Yeah!

Trivia

  • This song would appear as one of the playable tracks in the game Donkey Konga.
    • The Donkey Konga version is slightly altered from the in-show version; it does not feature the spoken interlude, and the instrumental portion is played by a trombone rather than a trumpet.
