Kirby Comes to Cappy Town		Tertiary character	In this episode, Chief Bookem is first seen with the assembled Cappies at Kabu Canyon pleading to Kabu for answers. He is among those who witnesses Kirby's crash into Dream Land, though is largely on the sidelines for this scene. Chief Bookem is later seen at Mayor Len's house with several others to celebrate Kirby's arrival, before Kirby inhales all of the food at the table and then runs off. Chief Bookem is seen one more time at the end of the episode, watching as Kirby tries to leave in his Starship but fails.	"I'd like to lock both of 'em up!" (describing King Dedede and the power which sent Octacon)
A Blockbuster Battle		Secondary character	In this episode, Chief Bookem is the second person who Tiff and the others approach to try to give Kirby a home and a job in Cappy Town. Kirby is taken on as a deputy, but is sabotaged by Tokkori, who causes Kirby to accidentally shoot the entire Police HQ down with a machine gun (this is not seen in the 4Kids version). As a result, Chief Bookem throws Kirby out. Later on, when the kids build Kirby a treehouse outside of town, Chief Bookem can be seen at the commemoration party with other prominent Cappies. Later on, after Kirby defeats Blocky, Chief Bookem can be seen in the crowd that cheers for him.	"Yeah, it's out of town!" (in response to Mayor Len's remark about Kirby's tree house)
Kirby's Duel Role		Tertiary character	In this episode, Chief Bookem is only briefly seen in Cappy Town, reacting to the news Tokkori is spreading about Kirby's duel with Meta Knight.	"A challenge?"
Dark and Stormy Knight		Tertiary character	In this episode, Chief Bookem is briefly seen in Cappy Town talking to Doron in the Police Headquarters, and is zapped by Kracko as it passes by.	"I just heard from the D.A. He's handing down new charges!" (right before getting "charged")
Beware: Whispy Woods!		Tertiary character	In this episode, Chief Bookem can be seen with the other Cappies remarking on Whispy Woods Forest being cleared by King Dedede, and watches the opening and subsequent destruction of Dedede's Country Club.	"This'd make a real pretty spot for a new prison!"
Un-Reality TV		Tertiary character	In this episode, Chief Bookem is among those who receives a television set from King Dedede and eventually falls prey to the Channel DDD propaganda and hypnosis, forming part of the mob that tries to go after Kirby, which Tiff later has to deflect. He is later seen reacting to Tiff and company's crashing of the Channel DDD set.	"Looks like somebody's been feeding Kirby steroids!"
Kirby's Egg-Cellent Adventure		Tertiary character	In this episode, Chief Bookem is among those investigating the damage caused by Dyna Blade's passing near the start of the episode. Later on, he can be seen preparing to attack Dyna Blade should she attack again, flailing his gun wildly (though this is only shown in the Japanese version).	"A tornado?"
Curio's Curious Discovery		Tertiary character	In this episode, Chief Bookem appears at Professor Curio's dig site with the others when King Dedede reveals the "artifacts" found there, and Chief Bookem is among those who finds a souvenir. Later on, he is present at the artifact exposition where Curio reveals that it is all a sham. He later escapes when Dedede Stone attacks.	"Ah! A thingamajig!"
The Fofa Factor		Tertiary character	In this episode, Chief Bookem is among those who are harassed by Slice n' Splice on King Dedede's orders. Chief Bookem ends up confronting King Dedede about this, having been given King Dedede's body. It is unclear where Chief Bookem's own body went before everyone is returned to normal.	"King Dedede! Body snatching's illegal!"
Hail to the Chief		Primary character	Chief Bookem plays a leading role in this episode. While trying to direct traffic in Cappy Town (despite there being no traffic at the time) other Cappies remark on his strange work ethic. However, he shortly falls asleep on the job, and at that moment, a vehicle collision occurs between King Dedede and Mayor Len. When they confront Chief Bookem about it to ask him for his input, he is unable to answer them, and King Dedede decides that he is going to fire Chief Bookem for this slip-up. Upon receiving this news, Chief Bookem starts to despair at the thought, but his wife Buttercup assures him that she will not think less of him regardless of the decision. In the meantime, Tuff and his friends have decided to take matters into their own hands to help convince the town that Chief Bookem is still needed, since Tuff was once told by Chief Bookem that he was a "Rough Ranger" in the military, and Tuff looks up to him for this (despite Tiff's insistence that there was never a war for him to be in). The mischief that Tuff and his friends cause results in Chief Bookem being called in by multiple villagers to investigate. However, this is all interrupted when King Dedede shows up to formally fire Chief Bookem, but the villagers rally behind their chief. Before a standoff can commence, however, Kirby interrupts things by planting a wasp nest on Escargoon's head, causing him to panic and drive away, inadvertently abducting Tuff in the process. Chief Bookem, Tiff, and others pursue up to the rim of the Booma-Dooma Volcano, finding Kirby along the way. Tuff is thrown out of King Dedede's vehicle and lands inside the caldera, unable to get out. Chief Bookem volunteers to go in and rescue him while strapped to a rope, despite Tiff's objections. With some difficulty and a few close calls, Chief Bookem manages to reach Tuff, and while climbing back out with him, is forced to admit that he was never a Rough Ranger. Shortly thereafter, the rope fails and the two go falling toward the open magma chamber, but are saved by Kirby on the Warp Star. After this rescue and Chief Bookem's proving of his bravery, King Dedede is once again rebuffed by the town when he tries one more time to fire the Chief.	"The Rough Rangers Squad is the toughest fighting force on the planet! My buddies and me got stuck in some real jams on the battlefield, but we never gave up! It's like us Rangers always say, Tuff: "Always try!""
