Moley is a boss from Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, as well as a Mid-Boss from Kirby Mass Attack. Moley resembles a large, Template:Gray mole with glasses and an orange neckerchief.

Game appearances

Kirby & The Amazing Mirror

In Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, Moley is found in Cabbage Cavern, where it guards the Mirror Shard. Moley hides in six holes (three on the ceiling and three on the ground) and periodically pops out of a random one, sending junk everywhere as his main attack.

Some of the junk gives a Copy Ability when inhaled and swallowed, while some do not. The following lists every kind of junk he throws (with yielding Copy Ability if any in the brackets):

Moley has 80 HP (a Star Bullet does 10).

Kirby Mass Attack

You're going to bump into Moley in some underground caves. That burly guy has some mean little henchmen. One of them wears a spiked helmet. Don't go near those spikes!
— Daroach, in Kirby Mass Attack

In Kirby Mass Attack, Moley is the mini-boss of the sixth stage of Green Grounds. The fight with him has 3 phases. In the first phase, Kirby must defeat the 4 Mogmoles that appear. In the second phase, four additional moles will appear; however, two will be wearing spiked helmets and can't be harmed. Kirby must first defeat the two moles lacking helmets, to make the other two appear without their helmets, and become vulnerable. In the final phase, Moley itself appears, accompanied by two smaller moles, both wearing spiked helmets. Kirby must defeat Moley to win the battle.

Moley also appears in the Sub-Game Field Frenzy.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Moley appears as a Support Spirit in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, using his Kirby Mass Attack artwork. He is ranked ★ Novice, costs 1 slot and has the skill of equpping the fighter with a Drill.

Trivia

  • In [[Kirby: Squeak Squad|Template:KSqS KMoA]], a boss named Mrs. Moley appears, who looks and behaves similarly to Moley. In a Dedede Directory post about the two, it was confirmed that they are a couple.[1]
  • It is unknown what Moley's bottom half looks like, as it is never seen. However, Mrs. Moley's whole body is seen in Template:KSqS KMoA, so it can be assumed that Moley's body is similar to hers.
