Dark Crafter is a Boss from [[Kirby and the Rainbow Curse|Template:KatRC KatRP]]. He is the final boss of the game, fought directly after Claycia, having been possessing her in a manner similar to Dark Matter from earlier games.
Characteristics
Dark Crafter resembles a cloud of paint with a single eye that also looks like a mouth. Above the eye is a pair of nightshades which was previously used to subdue Claycia and from which the beast emerges. Finally, Dark Crafter has two disembodied Grab Hands for hands.
Very little is known if at all about Dark Crafter's motives. His figurine description stated that he wanted to take over the world, and he generally seems to have a cold and sadistic personality. When Kirby takes damage from his bombs, for instance, he can be seen chuckling.
Boss fight
Kirby engages Dark Crafter directly after freeing Claycia from his influence. Elline paints Kirby into a Kirby Rocket to chase after Dark Crafter, who fights on the move by tossing explosive bombsat Kirby. Included with these bombs, however, are Point Stars which Kirby can to collect so he can charge up a Star Dash and ram Dark Crafter, who loses colTemplate:Or every time he's hit.
Dark Crafter changes up his bomb-throwing wave patterns every time he is hit, with the last waves being particularly numerous and difficult to dodge, as well as there being less stars to pick up. While it is generally unsafe for Kirby to try and use his Star Dash on Dark Crafter while he is tossing bombs, there are moments where Dark Crafter has to take a short break, and tries to spin to boost speed instead. This moment is the best opening for a Star Dash attack. After three successful hits, Dark Crafter is defeated, dissipating into nothingness far out in space.
