“ | The mysterious vortex brought Gigant Edge to the new world too! They arrived before Kirby and fell in with the ranks of the Beast Pack. Despite the wild wardrobe change, they really stand out among the rest of the pack, but they'll still guard their stations with ferocity! | ” | — Figure description |
Wild Edge is a variant of Gigant Edge who appears as a Mid-Boss in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. They resemble their normal counterpart, but with war paint on their armor and a fur collar around their neck. They also wield a stone sword and a spiky riot shield. The Gigant Sword ability is based on Wild Edge.
Locations
Wild Edge is known to appear in the following stages:
Attacks
Wild Edge in Downtown Grassland has 450 HP (Star Bullet=80), and they enter Phase 2 when their HP is below 55%. They take 0.2× damage when roaring during the beginning of Phase 1 and Phase 2.[1]
Wild Edge has a few different moves as follows (attack names are conjectural). Attacks in italics are only used in Phase 2.

Attack | Description | Variants
Overhead Slash | Wild Edge performs a large vertical slash with their sword which hits the ground, creating two Drop Stars. | They may perform up to three of these in succession.
Lateral Slash | Wild Edge performs a big lateral swing with their sword. | This attack is not used in all of Wild Edge's battles.
Charge | Wild Edge pulls out their sword and runs forward for a while. When they stop, they leave two Drop Stars behind and stagger for a moment.
Guard | Wild Edge brings up their shield and raises his defenses. Attacks from the front will do nothing, but if hit from behind, they will be stunned for a moment and take 2.0× damage, leaving two Drop Stars as well. Stunning them during Phase 1 may enable Kirby to defeat them without activating Phase 2. | In Phase 2, Wild Edge may move slowly forward while using this move. |
