Whack Attack! Wild Hammer Trial (Wild Hammer Treasure for short) is a stage in Treasure Road, found in Redgar Forbidden Lands. This stage tasks Kirby with completing a challenge revolving around the use of Wild Hammer, defeating enemies in waves. The stage is unlocked upon completing Enter the Fiery Forbidden Lands with all of its Waddle Dees rescued. In order to access this challenge, Kirby needs to have acquired Wild Hammer. It is marked by three stars of difficulty and has a stage time of three minutes and 30 seconds (three minutes in Wild Mode), with a target time of one minute and 30 seconds.

Stage details

This stage is fairly straightforward, tasking Kirby with defeating three waves of enemies on three different spinning platforms with toxic goop on them. The first two waves are against common enemies, but the last wave pits Kirby against Twin Wild Bonkers. Once all three waves are clear, Kirby can retrieve the Rare Stone.

Tips

The following are tips on how to attain the target time for this stage:

  • Each strike of Wild Hammer is very strong, but most of the attacks are rather slow. Against the normal enemies, Kirby should prioritize using regular hammer swings or midair hammer swings.
  • Against Twin Wild Bonkers, Kirby should try to get them both together so he can hit them both at once. Failing this, he could focus one down and then start attacking the other one once the first one enters their second phase interlude, then switch back as needed to maximize the amount of damage done.
