This article is about the secret planet which holds the Copy essence. For details about the fight against Marx which takes place on another planet named ???, see Milky Way Wishes.
This article is about the planet named ???, and should not be confused with other entities that have their names obscured at first, such as certain bosses. It should also not be confused with the listed year in which the game Milky Way Wishes is set.

???, called ? in Kirby Super Star, is a secret optional planet in the Milky Way Wishes stage of Kirby Super Star and Kirby Super Star Ultra. It has the Copy Copy Essence Deluxe and many Tacs, and is the only stage without a boss of any kind. On the map screen, it is the large green star directly above Skyhigh (though in the remake, it is positioned slightly to the right as well, closer to Cavius).

Overview

??? can be found in-between Cavius and Skyhigh and consists of three areas. The first area is a purple jungle filled with Tacs. The path is straightforward, though there are a few pitfalls here and there. The second area is more open, and also features Bombers. The last area is an empty space where the Copy Essence Deluxe for the Copy ability can be found. But as that area has no floor underneath, an unprepared player could easily find themselves falling into the bottomless pit. From here, Kirby can return to the Milky Way by means of Warp Star.

The visuals in the second area are heavily modified in Kirby Super Star Ultra. The SNES version features solid black flooring against a solid blue backdrop, while Ultra depicts the area as a nighttime-themed version of Floria.

Trivia

  • A planet of the same name is where Marx is fought for the final battle. In this appearance, it is the barren moon which previously served as the area where Nightmare was fought in Kirby's Adventure.
