Invader Armor (parsed Invader Armour in the British English version) is a Mid-Boss that appears in Kirby: Planet Robobot. As its name implies, it is one of many mech suits deployed by the Haltmann Works Company to invade Popstar. When defeated, the pilot flies out of the armor, leaving Kirby to take it for himself. After jumping into it, Kirby's infinite power transforms it into the Robobot Armor.

The Invader Armor first appears in Patched Plains - Stage 2, and reappears as a mid-boss in Resolution Road - Stage 2 and Access Ark - Stage 5.

The Invader Armor itself resembles a larger Kirby in terms of its physique, but with more well-defined arms and legs. It also possesses numerous rivets, spikes, and other doodads. Its pilot, by comparison, is a small, round creature very similar in physique to Kirby, with a black mask and white body with blue feet and purple hands.

Battle

In combat, Invader Armor uses punches, slams, and jet dashes, all of which leave stars on impact which can be inhaled and spat out to deal damage. Its slow movement is rather predictable, however, and it can be defeated after only a few hits.

The following lists the Invader Armor's attacks from Kirby: Planet Robobot. Italics indicate an attack not available in the Patched Plains battle. The names of each attack are conjectural unless otherwise stated.

Invader Armor's attacks
Attack Description
Invader Punch
The armor walks a bit and then throws out a right punch. Stars are left behind upon punching.
Invader Slam
The armor walks a bit before throwing out one or two punches with one arm and then slamming with both arms. Stars are left behind after each punch and slam. The armor might do the two-punch and slam combo twice in a row.
Invader Boost
The armor boosts forward and stops just before it hits one of the sides of the arena. The armor might boost three times in a row in the Access Ark battle. Stars are left behind at the start of the boost and at the end of it.
Hover
The armor double-jumps and hovers in the air for a short duration before slamming the ground. The hover lasts a shorter time in the Access Ark battle. Stars are left behind after the ground slam.

In the Patched Plains battle, the Invader Armor will attack in a fixed order on loop as follows:

  1. Invader Punch
  2. Invader Slam [1 punch then slam]

After losing enough health, the armor will abruptly switch to this pattern:

  1. Invader Boost
  2. Invader Punch
  3. Invader Slam [1 punch then slam]

In the Resolution Road battle, the Invader Amor will attack in a fixed order on loop as follows:

  1. Invader Slam [1 punch then slam]
  2. Invader Slam [2 punches than slam]

After losing enough health, the armor will abruptly switch to this pattern:

  1. Hover
  2. Invader Boost
  3. Invader Slam [2 punches then slam] x2

In the Access Ark battle, the Invader Armor will attack in a fixed order on loop as follows:

  1. Invader Boost
  2. Invader Slam [2 punches then slam]
  3. Invader Slam [1 punch then slam]

After losing enough health, the armor will abruptly switch to this pattern:

  1. Hover
  2. Invader Boost x3
