Chuchu[1] (sometimes spelled as ChuChu) is one of Kirby's Animal Friends in Kirby's Dream Land 3, first appearing in the second stage of Grass Land. She is a pink, blob-like octopus wearing a red bow on her head. Unlike other Animal Friends, who can carry Kirby around in some manner, Chuchu rides on Kirby's head while teamed up with him.
She is able to use her sticky, extendable "tentacles" to grab enemies in front of her and put them into Kirby's mouth, as well as sticking to and moving along ceilings. Furthermore, if the unknown reader presses the B button while Chuchu is falling, it increases her altitude a little, making it possible to slow down her fall if the button is pressed repeatedly.
Chuchu was last seen in Kirby Star Allies, appearing briefly when the Cleaning move 'Clean ChuChu' is used. This move replicates Chuchu's Clean ability combo from Dream Land 3.
