Tortletummy Thorn[Japanese title] is an enemy from Kirby Mass Attack. It resembles a thin cylindrical version of Tortletummy with a spiked metal helmet, appearing only during the fight with the purple Tortletummy, and serves as a hazard for the bloated Mid-Boss to try and push the Kirbys into. In later stages of the fight, whenever Tortletummy creates a wide current in the water, a line of Tortletummy Thorns will appear in the direction of the current's flow. Tortletummy Thorns cannot be defeated directly, but if the Kirbys can avoid being pulled into their spikes for long enough, the Tortletummy Thorns will disappear once their master gets tired.

Trivia[edit]

  • In the game files for Kirby Mass Attack, there is an unused purple variety of Tortletummy Thorn. It is possible that this was originally meant to be used by the purple Tortletummy, while the green ones would have been used by the first Tortletummy in Green Grounds - Stage 10.
