Ice Cream Island - Stage 4 is the fourth stage of Ice Cream Island, the second level of Kirby's Adventure and its Game Boy Advance remake, Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land.
Overview
This stage takes place in five rooms. The first has Kirby trotting along some cloud-tops and buildings situated therein. A side-chamber can be accessed along the way which holds a 1-Up. Near the end of this walkway, a Maxim Tomato can be found inside a Star Block cache overhead.
In the second room, Kirby returns to the ground, where he will need to battle against Mr. Tick-Tock in a pit before proceeding.
The path in the third room continues downward on cloud steppes as many Scarfies vie to get in the way. Kirby might be able to convince them to leave if he shouts loud enough.
The fourth room has Kirby toying with the newly-introduced Laser ability, which he can get from a local Laser Ball. Using this power, he can break a Bomb Block in the ceiling to get a 1-Up before proceeding.
The last room takes place outside on the beach, where a number of pits and enemies need to be overcome. An optional doorway appears along the way, which leads to a room where the Laser ability might come in handy to clear enemies in the way of a snack.
Differences between versions
In Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land, the area that introduces the Laser ability is expanded, with several ceiling-cached objects along a longer tunnel, as opposed to the singular room in Kirby's Adventure.
