Grape Garden - Stage 5 is the fifth stage of Grape Garden, the fourth level of Kirby's Adventure and its remake, Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land.
Overview
This stage consists of five main areas. The first has Kirby bounding over a number of platforms up in the clouds. Kirby can get an Invincible Candy right away in order to run through this area unfettered. Near the end, two doorways can be reached. The one on the left leads to an optional challenge which yields a 1-Up, while the one on the right leads forward.
From there, Kirby ascends a brief staircase and enters a rather large door into a cloud palace.
Inside, he is ambushed by the Meta-Knights. Defeating them is necessary to move forward.
From there, Kirby travels through a tall hallway and has to contend with a few guards.
The last area has Kirby wandering through a cloud maze patrolled by Gordos and lined with spikes in places. The stage exit can be found to the right.
Differences between versions
In Kirby's Adventure, the final area is a straight hallway filled with rooms full of Gordos and spikes, as opposed to a maze. Additionally, the aesthetic of the original version is far more artificial, with castle and palace interiors making up the majority of the stage architecture, as opposed to mainly cloudscape in the remake.
