Butter Building - Stage 7 is the final stage of Butter Building in Kirby's Adventure and its remake, Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land. This stage pits Kirby against Mr. Shine & Mr. Bright, whom he must defeat to obtain the third piece of the Star Rod and advance to the next level; Grape Garden.

Overview

Main article: Mr. Shine & Mr. Bright

The stage takes place in a simple open field with no extraneous platforms or hazards. Both Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright can be seen surrounding Kirby under an evening sky. As the fight begins, either of them will jump into the sky and change the time of day by doing so, while the other remains grounded.

The grounded boss will attempt to corner Kirby and attack him with body slams or projectiles, while the airborne boss will attempt to attack Kirby with projectiles from above. The projectiles from the airborne boss can be inhaled and used to retaliate against the grounded boss to deal him damage. Every now and then, the two change places, requiring Kirby to change his tactics accordingly. Once one of the bosses runs out of health, they will be forced into the air and be unable to return to their grounded form, leaving the other partner to remain grounded until he is defeated too.

Once both Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright are defeated, they rise into the air simultaneously and then collide with each-other before exploding out of existence. In the twilit sky left behind, Kirby can collect the third piece of the Star Rod, do his dance, then proceed to Grape Garden's hub.
