This stage takes place inside a tall tower, where the wind blows continuously. In the lower sections of the tower, The wind will alternate between blowing to the left and to the right. While this wind is blowing, drapes will blow to the appropriate side and act as a platform for Kirby to use. In addition, when Kirby is in his Parachute form, he will gain a small amount of height while being blown about in these directions. After passing through these chambers, the upper portions of the tower can be reached, which have a continuous upward draft. In this area, Kirby will need to use his Parachute to float upward while avoiding the many hazards along the path. At the top, the Bonus Bell can be reached to finish the stage.

Trivia
*In the American English version of the games, the in-game description for this song's CD incorrectly states it as being from Kirby's Dream Land, when it is originally from Kirby's Adventure, a mistake that persists with all arrangements from previous Kirby games. The British English versions correctly state it's from the Kirby series instead. This may be due to the Japanese name for Kirby's Dream Land, Hoshi no Kirby, also being the name of the series as a whole.

Tempest Towers is the second stage of Dream Land in Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn, unlocked by clearing Whispy's Forest and obtaining the Crank Handle Patch. Completing this stage grants the Pinwheel Patch, used to unlock Cloud Palace.

Patch animation[edit]

Upon throwing the patch, a Yarn Waddle Dee appears from behind the hill and inserts a crank handle into the wall. He cranks it, causing the hill to re-upholster into a tower, and some steps to appear from the floor. This done, the Waddle Dee walks back behind the hill with the crank handle and the door opens.

Overview[edit]

This stage takes place inside a tall tower where the wind blows continuously.

Trivia[edit]

 • In the American English version of the games, the in-game description for this song's CD incorrectly states it as being from Kirby's Dream Land, when it is originally from Kirby's Adventure, a mistake that persists with all arrangements from previous Kirby games. The British English versions correctly state it's from the Kirby series instead. This may be due to the Japanese name for Kirby's Dream Land, Hoshi no Kirby, also being the name of the series as a whole.
