- This article is about the Metamortex Transformation from Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn, and should not be confused with UFO.
Saucer is a Metamortex transformation featured in Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn. Saucer transforms Kirby and Prince Fluff into a flying saucer shaped similarly to the UFO ability, though larger. The transformation grants them the ability to not only fly to anywhere they want, but to suck up any obstacle, including enemies and beads.
When enough obstacles get sucked in, Kirby and Prince Fluff are able to use a huge electric shock that destroys all obstacles and enemies. This is indicated by a flashing red light on the saucer's antenna, as well as a constant rumble in the Wii Remote. Unlike many other Metamortex transformations, Kirby and Prince Fluff remain separate from each-other when transformed, becoming two individual saucers.
In Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn, the saucer will emit a constant electric tone to let the player know when it is ready to unleash the shock attack, since the Nintendo 3DS lacks the rumble feature of the Wii.
