Splash Beach is the first stage of Water Land in Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn, unlocked by defeating Squashini in Treat Land. The stage takes place on a beach which transitions from night to day, and regularly changes in water level. Completing this stage yields the Whistle Patch, which is used to unlock Blub-Blub Ocean.
Overview[edit]
The stage begins on the beachside at night. As Kirby progresses to the right past the changing tides, he will stumble into a sleeping stack of sea turtles which block his path. Using Snake will allow Kirby to travel into the ground, then use a warp hole to travel up to the clouds. Kirby can find the moon up here sleeping, and pulling it with the Yarn Whip will transform it into the sun, changing night to day. From there, Kirby can head back down to the beach and continue to the right along the beach. The changing water level is the primary concern as Kirby moves along, but this eventually makes way to a series of waves that he can ride. From here, it's not too long to the Bonus Bell at the end.
