Boom Boatyard is the sixth stage (first extra stage) of Water Land in Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn, unlocked by defeating Capamari with enough beads to obtain the Treasure Map Patch. This stage is a long auto-scrolling section across boats and blocks with a constant barrage of missiles falling from above. Completing this stage yields the Wrench Patch, which is used to unlock Fossil Reef.
Patch animation[edit]
Upon tossing the patch, a grotto full of buried treasure is revealed below the Secret Island door, which prompts a pirate ship to approach the island, bumping into it on the right side. The door over the ship then opens.
Overview[edit]
The stage begins on a dock as the screen begins to scroll. Kirby will need to first make his way across several small boats and elevated wooden platforms as missiles start to fall from the sky. Many of the boats will be sunk by the barrage, but Kirby should not be deterred by this. He will have to jump between two larger ships while also dealing with the Mariner crews and dodging more missiles. At the end of the path, Kirby will face down against the giant Blast Mariner by grabbing its missiles and returning them to sender. After three hits, the Blast Mariner will be reduced to a pile of yarn, and the Bonus Bell can then be reached to clear the stage.
